For travelers seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the charming and artistic town of New Hope, PA, the New Hope Inn & Suites presents itself as a unique and often budget-friendly option. Located at 6426 Lower York Rd, New Hope, PA 18938, USA, this establishment offers a blend of motel-style convenience with hotel-like amenities, making it a distinctive choice in the area. The hotel can be reached via phone at (215) 862-5221 or mobile at +1 215-862-5221.
The environment of the New Hope Inn & Suites is characterized by a mix of styles, providing a "charming hotel" experience according to some guests. It features "motel-style direct to parking (or courtyard) room access," offering direct entry to rooms which can be convenient for loading and unloading luggage. Despite this motel-like accessibility, the hotel also boasts "hotel-like amenities such as nice furniture, a fancy lobby, a business room, and event spaces," suggesting a more upscale feel in certain communal areas. The overall impression leans towards a larger property, described as "the largest motel you ever saw," indicating ample space and a comprehensive layout. The "overall atmosphere is comfortable, with ample outdoor seating that we thoroughly enjoyed due to the welcoming and chill vibe," highlighting a relaxed and inviting ambiance, particularly in outdoor spaces.
The staff at the New Hope Inn & Suites consistently receives high praise, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Reviewers "cannot shout out the front desk worker Sam enough" for being "incredibly friendly and helpful" and truly making stays "special." The staff is repeatedly described as "exceptionally pleasant," and their "welcoming attitude" is a standout feature, particularly from the cook during breakfast. This strong focus on customer service creates a positive impression and contributes significantly to guests feeling "relaxed and happy with our stay."
When it comes to features, the New Hope Inn & Suites offers an impressive array of amenities not always found together in its price category. A "super cool pool and tennis court" provide excellent recreational opportunities, though their usability is seasonal. The presence of a "beer garden" adds a unique social element, offering a relaxed spot for guests to unwind. For practical needs, there's a "convenience store with a surprisingly good selection of food you could cook on your own (like ramen and etc) located near the front desk," which is a thoughtful addition for an extended stay or simply for late-night snacks. Event spaces and a business room further cater to various guest needs, from corporate gatherings to social functions.
The guest rooms are generally reported as clean. However, some reviews indicate that the "property is rough around the edges" in certain areas. Guests noted "some dirty or janky elements," "almost broken or wobbly fixtures, chipped decor, and flickering lights from loose bulbs." There was also mention of "construction" during one stay. This suggests that while core areas like top sheets, beds, and pillows are "clean and comfortable," the "undersheets were old and stained," indicating that "70% of the cleaning is completed then they stop," or that maintenance on details is inconsistent. This aspect implies that while the hotel is "clean where it counts," guests who are particular about minor aesthetic imperfections or wear and tear might notice these details. Despite these points, for many, these issues were "not enough to be a deal breaker."
Noise can be a factor, particularly for "courtyard-facing rooms," which "can be noisy due to people gathering and talking." The hotel observes "quiet hours start at 10:30 PM," but guests can sometimes be "inconsiderate." However, given the "family-friendly environments with outdoor pool activity," those accustomed to such vibrant settings will likely find the "vibe acceptable." Noise-sensitive individuals are advised to "request a room away from this area, there are rooms pretty far away."
A major highlight of the services provided is the complimentary breakfast, which receives rave reviews. It is described as "delicious, with a wide variety that even accommodated gluten restrictions, a rarity in hotels." The "amount of different good foods was fantastic," with one guest noting that their wife, who usually struggles to eat hotel breakfast, "ate a lot here!" The staff's accommodating nature, even allowing guests to use the dining hall's coffee and hot water outside of breakfast hours, further elevates this service. This strong breakfast offering is a significant value proposition for guests.
The New Hope Inn & Suites is positioned as a "comfortable, good enough, and well-priced" option. It particularly appeals to guests who are "forgiving and low-maintenance" and prioritize value, unique amenities, and excellent customer service over pristine perfection in every detail. Its location makes it convenient for exploring the "fantastic and beautiful" New Hope area, known for its artistic community, historic sites, unique boutiques, and scenic Delaware River views.
Regarding promotional information, while specific packages are not provided in the snippet, independent hotels like New Hope Inn & Suites often offer various deals. Apr 10, 2025 · Susan SullivanThis place is a mix of motel and hotel. It has motel-style direct to parking (or courtyard) room access, but boasts hotel-like amenities such as nice furniture, a fancy lobby, free breakfast, a business room, and event spaces. Its big size also leans more towards a hotel. Or it's the largest motel you ever saw. The overall atmosphere is comfortable, with ample outdoor seating that we thoroughly enjoyed due to the welcoming and chill vibe. The staff is exceptionally pleasant. A convenience store with a surprisingly good selection of food you could cook on your own (like ramen and etc) located near the front desk. However, the property is rough around the edges. Our room had some dirty or janky elements, and there was construction. We noticed some almost broken or wobbly fixtures, chipped decor, and flickering lights from loose bulbs. Yet, much of the hotel appears beautiful and clean – it's as if only 70% of the cleaning is completed then they stop. The undersheets were old and stained, though the top sheets, bed, and pillows were clean and comfortable. So, it's "clean where it counts," but the details are lacking. I can see this being a major turn-off but it's not enough to be a deal breaker. Another issue is noise. Courtyard-facing rooms can be noisy due to people gathering and talking. Noise sensitive should request a room away from this area, there are rooms pretty far away. While quiet hours start at 10:30 PM, guests can be inconsiderate. However, given we spent most of our time outside, it's understandable others did too. Those accustomed to family-friendly environments with outdoor pool activity will likely find the vibe acceptable. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety that even accommodated gluten restrictions, a rarity in hotels. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to use the dining hall's coffee and hot water outside of breakfast hours. We were very impressed with their welcoming attitude, especially the cook. Seriously, the amount of different good foods was fantastic, we loved it. The wife usually cannot eat any hotel breakfast, but she ate a lot here! Ultimately, this place is comfortable, good enough, and well-priced. If you're forgiving and low-maintenance, it's a good choice. We left feeling relaxed and happy with our stay and would consider returning. The area is fantastic and beautiful and we'd come to see it again.
Apr 27, 2025 · Ratchet AndclankWe have stayed at this Inn and inn suites before. One word wow they did a refresh is so much better. We like that they had a free breakfast in the morning with a lot of selections as well as as coffee, tea, and orange juice. Something for everyone they have a cute sitting area and also a full bar with food and a band you would have to check the events for more information. We actually came in before check-in time and they let us check in. Staff was very friendly. The room was nice. The only critique was the bathroom is very small and tight. The bed and mattress was comfortable as well as the pillows. Also, the heat and air conditioning was not consistent so it made it a little hard to sleep . They have express check out. Parking was OK I would say if you’re looking for snacks or something around the area to stop at the local Wawa. The room did have a coffee maker and a small microwave with refrigerator.
Feb 17, 2025 · Dawn HandlerThe rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and every staff member was kind. Great place to stay if you're in the area
Mar 17, 2025 · Samantha MannonWe came here for a wedding. The elevator was outside & smelled like a urinal. The room was so small, my husband & I couldn't cross each other in the room. The ice machine was out of order & we still paid over $150/night.
