Everyone was super friendly, from front desk, bartenders, and maintenance staff. A big group of us were up there for a wedding, and there was a mixup with the shuttle that was supposed to take us to the ceremony. The manager and some of the staff were super generous by offering us rides to the place, and got us all there where the wedding was held. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. I would recommend this place, we had a great time, no complaints!

The hotel likely features common areas such as a bar and restaurant, which have been noted by guests as "nice." A common positive note from guests is the comfort of the beds, which is a fundamental aspect of any pleasant hotel stay. While specific decor or room amenities are not extensively detailed, the expectation for a Ramada property would be standard furnishings, including a TV, work desk, and basic bathroom facilities. The aim is to provide a restful environment for guests after their activities in the area.
In terms of services, the Ramada New Hope offers fundamental hospitality provisions. The most frequently praised aspect of the service is the friendliness of the staff. Multiple reviews highlight that "everyone was super friendly, from front desk, bartenders, and maintenance staff." This positive disposition of the team significantly contributes to a welcoming atmosphere. A notable example of exceptional service involved a wedding group experiencing a shuttle mix-up. The hotel "manager and some of the staff were super generous by offering us rides to the place, and got us all there where the wedding was held." This demonstrates a proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving, going "above and beyond" to ensure guest satisfaction, particularly for important events like weddings.
However, it is imperative to provide an objective introduction by addressing significant challenges and inconsistencies reported by guests, particularly concerning group bookings and communication. A detailed review from a recent bride describes an "absolute worst experience" with booking a room block for her wedding. The issues stemmed from a complex and problematic booking process, where guests repeatedly called the hotel and were incorrectly told that no room block existed under the wedding name. This occurred multiple times, despite the block being confirmed by corporate, reportedly due to front desk staff not knowing how to access corporate-booked blocks on their system. This widespread confusion caused considerable stress for the bride and her guests, leading to many guests booking outside the block and missing out on discounts. The review explicitly warns future brides to "be super cautious when creating a room block" and to "make sure you do it through the actual hotel, no matter what they tell you when you call."
Furthermore, the bride's review points to significant issues with management's response to these problems. The manager was described as "not very nice," giving "attitude," and "pretty much blamed me for setting up the room block wrong." This lack of accommodation and willingness to resolve the issue from management's side is a critical concern, directly impacting customer satisfaction and trust. While the review acknowledges that the rooms were "nice" and the "bar and restaurant area" was pleasant for those who stayed, the overall experience of organizing the group booking was "completely unacceptable."
Regarding features, the Ramada New Hope, being a chain hotel, offers standard amenities expected in its category. These typically include complimentary Wi-Fi, and often a fitness center, and possibly an outdoor or indoor pool, although specific details are not provided in the given reviews. The on-site bar and restaurant area is a confirmed feature, providing convenient dining and social options for guests. For wedding groups or other events, the ability to host an "after party at the bar" is a valuable asset, especially when the staff is accommodating, as noted in one positive review about the bartender staying open late.
The hotel's location on Lower York Rd places it conveniently within the New Hope area. It is described as "one of the only chain hotels in an area where a lot of weddings take place," making it a practical choice for guests who prefer the reliability and amenities of a recognized brand. Its proximity to wedding venues and local attractions in New Hope and neighboring towns is a key advantage. New Hope is known for its arts and culture scene, historic sites, unique shops, and scenic views along the Delaware River, all of which are generally accessible from the hotel's location.
Promotional information for the Ramada New Hope, as part of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts portfolio, would typically include participation in the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program. Guests can earn points for their stays and redeem them for free nights or other rewards. The hotel may offer various promotions such as discounted rates for Wyndham Rewards members, seasonal deals, packages for local events, or special rates for AAA members, seniors, or corporate travelers. Group rates, particularly for wedding blocks, are a common offering, although the reported issues with their management at this specific location should prompt prospective bookers to exercise extra caution and directly confirm all details with the hotel's local sales or front desk team. It is always advisable to check the official Ramada or Wyndham Hotels & Resorts website for the most current and comprehensive promotional offers.
In conclusion, the Ramada New Hope can be a viable option for those seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the New Hope, PA area, particularly for its convenient location and generally comfortable rooms. The hotel benefits from a friendly and helpful general staff, who have demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond for individual guest needs and even mitigate issues for groups, as seen with the shuttle incident. However, potential guests, especially those planning large group bookings like wedding blocks, must be acutely aware of the significant and recurring issues reported regarding the management of these bookings, particularly involving communication and responsiveness from certain front desk personnel and management regarding corporate-booked blocks. While the physical property and some staff members offer a good experience, the severe operational and managerial challenges highlighted in group booking reviews warrant extreme caution and diligent direct communication with the hotel to ensure a smooth stay.

Oct 12, 2015 · Kate B (kitkat7188)I had the absolute worst experience with the Ramada in New Hope, PA and I definitely suggest any future brides to be super cautious when creating a room block through them. I normally don't leave bad reviews, but I had so many problems with them that I had to write one. Where do I start? I recently got married in October 2013 and called to create a room block for our wedding well over a year in advance so that we could get enough rooms for the amount of guests we would be inviting. When I called over to the front desk in New Hope, they told me that I had to call corporate to create the block. I called the corporate number from the website and created a room block easily over the phone with a very helpful and friendly lady on the other line. This turned out to be a huge mistake, and if I wasn't told to book through corporate to begin with when I originally called, I absolutely never would have. Then the issues started. We sent out our save the date with the room block information on it for all of our guests so they could start booking their rooms. I can't even tell you how many times this happened, but so many of our guests contacted me and said that they had called over to the Ramada and were told that there we no room block under our name for the wedding. Being a bride with so much to deal with already, they really made it a difficult experience for me. I called over numerous times, my dad called numerous times and even went up to the hotel and every time we were told that the room block was in there, but the person who answered the phone behind the counter that day just didn't know how to access it. This seriously happened more times than I can count and caused so many issues; it was just absolutely ridiculous. Apparently, if you book through corporate, the front desk associate needs to look under a new screen on their computer to find a room block and the person on that day didn't know how to do it. I understand that if someone is new there is a time for learning, but this happened 5 or more times so I don't know what the issue is there. Once again, if I wasn't told to book through corporate, I definitely would have booked directly through the New Hope Ramada. The manager was not very nice, gave me attitude when I would call and pretty much blamed me for setting up the room block wrong. She was not accommodating at all when I told her all of the issues I was having and continued to blame me for setting it up wrong instead of righting the problem or making it better. In the end, more than half of our guests just booked on their own and unfortunately did not get the wedding block discount and less than half of our guests booked through the block. I will say though that the guests that stayed there said the rooms were nice and so was the bar and restaurant area. It's a nice hotel, but the staff needs to get it together. It's one of the only chain hotels in an area where a lot of weddings take place, and everything was just completely unacceptable to me as a customer. Brides beware before choosing to book rooms here! And if you do, make sure you do it through the actual hotel, no matter what they tell you when you call!!
Nov 01, 2013 · Lauren DembergAs soon as we arrived there was nobody to be found! We waited around for the clerk to come back to his desk for about 20 minutes before we went looking for him. I asked a couple of patrons if anyone worked here and they said yes I saw them go into that dark room right there. Needless to say after I walked in and yelled into the darkness does anyone work here a disheveled man and woman came out and to the desk about 2 minutes apart from each other!! What were you doing in that dark room for 30 minutes friends!?!?! This was irritating but manageable what was really disgusting was the dirty sheets with blood remnants! We ended up changing rooms for the night and deciding never to return!
Jul 09, 2015 · Jamie MulcahyI have stayed at this hotel many times and EVERY TIME was a wonderful experience from the service, staff, quality of the food, and the manager Juan who it very professional, kind, and accommodating. He goes above and beyond to see that his customers are happy and satisfied. They have a customer for life in me!
Jan 27, 2016 · Angie VThe room is very clean, pool is beautiful and service is very friendly. Don't let the outside paint-job scare you away, they are remodeling, mostly done though.
