Really reasonable rates and it seemed the customers were in the middle/upper age bracket which was nice as it was a nice quiet (no screaming children or boisterous teens in the hallways) low key place. You also couldn't hear the traffic from the main rd in the rooms unless it was a very loud motorcycle and such. Very clean and customer service was good. Pool was nice and clean and was wonderful to dip our feet in after a full day of walking. The riverside view is wonderful to sit on the balcony and enjoy the river. Parking is ample and easy in / out. My only drawbacks on this hotel is that the mattresses are very hard and it feels like the old style with metal springs and in fact, squeak like metal springs when you just turn over in the bed. They really need to invest in better memory foam mattresses as no good nights sleep can ruin the next day for many. They didn't provide black tea or much fruit at the breakfast or (tea in the room). The breakfast was very basic, but the biscuits, eggs, gravy, and sausage were actually quite tasty. I'd come back if they upgraded the mattresses otherwise, my back can't handle the mattresses here.

For our Tennessee neighbors looking to book a stay at the Pigeon River Inn, finding promotions or special offers can make your trip even more affordable. While this hotel may not always advertise a wide array of complex packages, there are common ways to find deals for properties of this type:
Direct Booking Benefits: Always check the official website for Pigeon River Inn or call them directly. Hotels sometimes offer better rates or exclusive perks for direct bookings to avoid third-party commissions.
Seasonal Discounts: Look for promotions during off-peak seasons (e.g., late fall, winter excluding holidays, or early spring). Weekday stays are almost always more economical than weekend stays.
Advance Purchase Rates: Booking your room well in advance can often secure a slightly lower rate, though these typically come with stricter cancellation policies.
AAA, AARP, Military, and Government Discounts: If you are a member of AAA or AARP, or are active/retired military or a government employee, always inquire about applicable discounts. These are standard offers at many hotels.
Online Travel Agencies (OTAs): While direct booking is often preferred, sometimes sites like Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, or Kayak may have flash sales or package deals (e.g., hotel + flight) that could be beneficial. It’s worth comparing.
Last-Minute Deals: If your travel plans are flexible, occasionally you might find last-minute rate reductions for unsold rooms, though this is less reliable for popular destinations.
It's always a good practice to inquire about any current specials when you call to book or check their website before finalizing your reservation. Be sure to confirm the terms and conditions of any offer, including booking windows, blackout dates, and cancellation policies.

Apr 27, 2025 · Aimee St. ClairThe Pigeon River Inn is our favorite place to stay when we are in Pigeon Forge! The rooms are always clean, the staff is always nice, and the breakfast is delicious! We had an issue with the AC one time and they took care of it very quickly. My only complaint (which isn’t really a complaint) is that the elevator is slow. Our daughter loves when our room looks at Wonderworks, and the hotel has been great to meet our request when they can. It’s hard to find a bug-free, clean hotel, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Jun 15, 2025 · Sara OverbeckGreat price. My husband and I stayed two nights here. Can not beat the price. We booked through Expedia. We come to Tennessee quite often and this was by far the best bang for our money. We have stayed at other hotels for this price and quickly found out why it was so cheap. Ended up being a dump. But this was definitely different. Well worth the money. Hotel was clean. Balcony that overlooked the river. Breakfast included which was better than some of the other places. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is right by a bridge with a lot of traffic. So can be hard to get in and out. We stayed at the far end so it was not too noisy. Beds were great. Firmer, which is the way we like it. Pillows were a lot better than most hotels that have them to soft. I guess this is a personal preference. Bet we loved it. Will stay here again.
Mar 31, 2025 · Sara CookLoved absolutely everything about our stay. We stayed in a King Suite River Side. Plenty of towels, toiletries and the like. Every thing was in working order, soft close doors , the hallways were beautiful and gave a homey feel. Staff was spot on from beginning to end. Breakfast was good, the bear waffles were cute! Loved the view of PF at night, close enough to still watch the hustle and bustle but couldn’t hear it once inside the room! Already can’t wait to go back, because this will always be our go to!
Apr 11, 2025 · Andrea GekelerOne of the best experiences ive had with hotels period, and for the price its almost too good to be true. Very clean well kept rooms and exterior, great water pressure, and friendly staff. 5 stars
