I have mixed thoughts on this hotel so I’ll start with a good so that’s at the top of the review. All of the staff are absolutely fantastic. They’re all incredibly kind and helpful. No complaints. The decor and the style of the building are also really cool. There’s actually furniture in the rooms, not IKEA trash like many Marriott hotels have. The food and drinks at the restaurant are also delicious. Now for the not so good The breakfast offering for platinum and titanium members is literally fruit, coffee, and a piece of bread. That’s pretty embarrassing for an autograph collection hotel. I’m not really sure why, but it’s apparently impossible to get an iron that is clean and works, and an ironing board that actually stays up. I called for replacements for a busted board and a busted iron with gunk on it, got a replacement iron with additional gunk on it. Thanks. The room location in the hotel can be a dealbreaker, and God help you if you’re on the west side of the hotel facing the parking garage. It’s a very old building and the windows are basically just for show so they don’t stop any noise and you can hear everything going on outside all day and all nigh. What’s especially fun is that there is a recording at the parking garage gate that announces when any vehicles or pedestrians are approaching. All day. All night. “Attention, there is a vehicle entering the garage. Please use caution.” I realize this isn’t the Hotel‘s fault. If you’re aware of noisy rooms any respectable hotel will have earplugs already available in the rooms. Also, why is this where you shove your platinum members? Again, pretty embarrassing for the hotel. The gym is barely sufficient. This is a small boutique hotel so I’m not dinging them for this, but it’s worth noting that there is barely a set of free weights and a single bench, some cardio machines, no yoga mats.

This places it perfectly in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD), a vibrant area known for its blend of historic architecture, modern businesses, and close proximity to the city's most iconic attractions. This location is often cited as a key reason for the hotel's popularity, striking an excellent balance between convenience and a slight remove from the most intense hustle of the French Quarter.
One of the most significant advantages of this address is its remarkable walkability. As a local, you'll appreciate being just "a few blocks" or a "short walk" from the legendary French Quarter, including Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, and a myriad of world-class restaurants and shops. This allows you to easily immerse yourself in the city's unique culture, music, and culinary scene without needing a car or relying on constant transportation. Sports and entertainment venues like the Caesars Superdome (home of the New Orleans Saints) and the Smoothie King Center are also within close proximity, perfect for catching a game or a concert. For those arriving from outside the city, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is typically a 20-25 minute drive, while the Union Passenger Terminal is also conveniently located nearby. While the hotel is in a lively area, some specific rooms, particularly those facing west towards a parking garage, might experience noise. However, for most guests, the superb central location outweighs this, offering unparalleled access to everything New Orleans has to offer.

May 14, 2025 · Louis CSuch a great New Orleans gem! I live in the city and also operate a bar/restaurant very close to them. I’m also a loyal Marriot Titanium member so I know what’s good and …..well not so good. The bar and kitchen are what in my humble opinion adds tons of value to this Autograph Collection property. The front desk staff are amazing, bartenders are very attentive and work hard to please everyone. Now, the kitchen has seen its ups and downs over the years. However, as it sits right now their cook Will is what we all hope for when we order food. He has an obvious passion for cooking and his attention to detail is simply stunning. His pizzas, burgers and even salads make you want to come back for more. When you order a simple grilled chicken house salad and he divides all of the topping accoutrements in individual ramekins so you can add as much or as little as you’d like….WHAT?!?! That’s just a salad! All I can say that Will goes above and beyond and I “WILL” always come back while he’s there. Love this property and you should as well!
Jun 03, 2025 · Jeremie MizeHotel was okay. Location was great and it is a beautiful building. The staff were friendly. The bar staff make a great basil drop martini. While I couldn’t hear noise from people on street, the parking garage across the street was pretty loud. We could hear an announcement anytime somebody entered or existed the garage, although there is not much the hotel can do about that. The TV in our room was also barely functioning. Access to any internet TV only worked for 2 out of 7 days of our stay. We didn’t mind too much and pivoted to cable but the screen was often pixelated or blacked out (see pictures). The channels were also off by one. For example if you choose the History channel on the guide, it takes you to HGTV, if you go up one channel it takes you to the History Channel but says it is Lifetime. There was no way to access the last channel in the guide - it would take you back to channel 1 if you tried to access it. Overall, our stay was fine but some improvements could be made.
Apr 27, 2025 · Hannah FarabaughI stayed at Q&C Hotel and Bar New Orleans for the first time during my quick weekend visit at the end of March. I wanted a quaint little hotel that wasn't right in the middle of everything, and this turned out to be the perfect place! It was about a 15 minute walk to Jackson Square, and there were lots of little shops and restaurants along the way to stop if you wanted. I only had breakfast in the hotel one morning, and I opted for coffee and the flatbread breakfast pizza. The pizza was large enough to feed two people, and the flavor was good. It was, however, a little difficult to cut through the crust, and it was lukewarm when it arrived (I was the only person in the restaurant at the time.). The service I received, though, was impeccable! The staff at the Front Desk--Dallas, Bob, and Kierra--were so friendly! They were always happy to help with any questions I had, and they were kind enough to give me some restaurant recommendations for dinner. I enjoyed talking with them, and they were happy to carry on a conversation if they weren't busy. Jackson was the valet attendant, and even though I didn't have a vehicle, he was always there to assist with my luggage or opening a vehicle door if I'd taken an Uber or Lyft. Probably the only complaint I might have was that sometimes the room wasn't cool enough for my taste. However, Q&C is an older hotel that's been remodeled, but I was able to stay comfortable with a small bedside fan that I travel with. This won't keep me from staying here again, though! I look forward to a return visit the next time I'm in New Orleans!
Apr 02, 2025 · Ashley A. WalkerLocation is great. Close enough to the action but not in it. Nice little lounge and restaurant in the lobby too. Rooms were clean. Water pressure and temp were great. Valet takes a few minutes so plan ahead if you plan on using that service. Also, Kiara at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! She called me personally to let me know my room was ready because she knew I had to be somewhere. Overall great experience here.
