Apr 23, 2025 · Jessica OliveiraHere is a review of our experience: 1st day we got there the air condition flooded in our room and got part of our dog's bed wet we were then moved to a wars room than the original one we were given. 2nd day a fire alarm went off when we had to evacuate the hotel. 3nd day at 9:00 AM in the morning hotel staff knocked on our door and ask us if we were smoking, we were still trying to get some sleep from the day before. 4th day was told by the hotel manager that we were put into a room that was destroyed by a dog previously, But not offered a new room nor any compensation 5th day we were asked for our drivers license so that we could be given one of two luggage carts with a flat tire, even thought we had a credit card on file. Finally to add insult to injury after being billed $708 we were then charged an additional $94 on the 15th. this was several days after we checked out. How we are ever going to get a refund for this is unknown I guess I will have to ask the bank to charge it back. So we were given a room that was trashed, that had black mold in it, exposed electric wires that was a violation National Electric Standard Code. The cable only worked half the time on the tv when it would eventually come on. Our first room flooded, The hotel has a severe problem with bugs. Only one ice machine works(2nd floor) if you get there first before it’s out! The management staff could care less about the issues. The employees are polite but not at all in any way trained. Note after looking at other reviews it seems like we are not the only one that is charged several days after our visit. If I could have given this location no stars I would have but the review does not allow that. Please see our pictures I cannot believe that choice hotels allows this franchise to exist. Undoubtedly they care more about the fees they are receiving than their good name. Follow up: 4/17 - after contacting choices, CEO, we were sent a form letter. Do not expect anything from Customer Service. It seems that Choice over the last few years has become complacent, and no longer values. Its customer base. Any complaints sent to them most likely will fall on deaf ears. I intend to start a campaign to find out why it’s management has been left in place as the franchisees continue to go downhill without any type of oversight that is meaningful being enforced. Summary: If you value safety and your family, as well as individuals who ethically charge you what was quoted then stay away from this location, It Is dilapidated by all modern standards, it has a major and I mean Major bug problem, The Owner of this location as well as the corporate franchiser does not care about about the physical condition of the hotel. Any other hotel most likely will be a more positive experience. Sorry to see the condition in the decline of choice, hotels, but I guess as with anything every time things change.
Apr 17, 2025 · Charles EatonWe informed them a week prior to our arrival that we would have a truck and fully loaded trailer, and we were assured the parking would be no problem. We were told where and how to park and a room provided on back of hotel so that we could keep watch on our truck and trailer. On 4/25 we arrived well before checking in, parked where we told to park, offloaded, checked in and went to our room. We were not even there 2 full hours, the girl at the front desk called, was very rude to me when I answered. She told my husband he could not park there like that because they were overbooked. Parking lot was empty. We were told we would have to park down the road on the street in front of another business. We said we can't do that, and risk it being hit, towed, or stolen and then with a shrug front desk girl indicated we would have to leave, so we packed up and we left. We ended up driving all night to get back home. We were treated like trash and to be brutally honest, it felt as though we were being set up for something to happen with our truck and trailer. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff at the front desk that day were absolutely horrible and the way in which they treat customers is a reflection on the business/hotel/owner in itself. Shame on all of them.
Apr 27, 2025 · Lisa A. OsborneTold them I had a pickup and trailer when I made reservation. After driving all night we checked in 1.5 hours later we were told they were over booked that I would have park my truck and trailer infront of the other hotel on the street The parking lot was empty. I told them I would not park on the street were it wasn't safe. Was told the manager would deal with me. We packed up and left they were rude we we got there and used the parking to get ride of us. The charged me full price for a hour and half. So at the end of the day be warned! We feel like the were setting us up to get robbed or towed. The rooms are outdated at best. I just needed to rest. We got treated like trash
