My mom Booked a room here way in advance. After driving 7 hours, we checked in and it seemed to have gone smoothly. After about 5 minutes of being in the room the lady working front desk “Alex” she said her name was called the room to say she needed my moms debit card for the deposit. I walked downstairs to talk to her and she said she needed to “hold onto” the debit card for the night for the deposit. When I refused to leave my moms card at the front desk since she had already charged us for the room, she said then she’d have to take a picture of the debit card. After telling her she wasn’t taking a picture of my moms debit card she asked for $100 cash. I refused to give her any money and told her to refund our room and we’d go somewhere else, she said she wasn’t authorized to do that. After calling her “manager” she said our only option was give her $100 cash or to leave (per company policy) but when I asked to see the policy she couldn’t remember where it was. I told her we’d leave and gave her the room keys and she gave us cash as a refund. My parents book this exact hotel multiple times a month and have never been asked to hold their debit card.

May 21, 2025 · Veronica GuerreroI have stayed at this hotel before and had enjoyed our experience there so I decided to book same hotel again. Earlier that day I tried. Calling hotel n no one answered. Then when I arrived I noticed a suspicious man hanging around but figured it was a guest. I paid for the room cash n the desk clerk advised me it would be $100 for incidental. I said fine my card should be on file when I booked the room. She stated it was. We had barely gotten to our room when the front deck clerk called n stated we needed to put our card down for incidentals. This seemed odd but I gave my daughter the card thinking maybe she just needed to verify if it was the same card on file. She proceeded to inform my daughter that the card would be returned in the morning because their policy was to keep the card. That didn’t seem right to me n we questioned it. She then stated that if we didn’t want to leave it then she needed a picture of it. Now that seemed shady to me. When we asked why she said it was hotel rules. I then asked if she could give me a cash refund since I had paid cash, charge the room to my card n I would leave the$100 in cash she stated it was not allowed and if we did not want to allow her to keep the card then she would give us a refund n for us to leave. In the background was the shady guy from earlier whom I guessed later was probably her boyfriend. They both looked like they were high on something. We left the hotel. Now I’m just worried they will still charge my card on file. Worst experience ever!
May 21, 2025 · Brenda ReyesThis is our second time staying here and it was our last. First time the tub would not drain, well the second time was the same problem. We asked multiple times for help, and the staff brought us a plunger. They didn't make any effort to take care of the problem themselves. We also asked for extra blankets never got them. The place for the most part is clean with the exception of the two large fish tanks. The tanks look as if they have not been cleaned in a long time filthy, there's mold on the filter apparatus. Our room smelled musty when we arrived, not fresh. The location is great. Unfortunately, their lack of interest in caring us as guest a turn off. Won't be back

It was clean from the moment we entered. The free Breakfast was good ( specially the eggs with salsa) and service was attentive and efficient.
