It's horrible all the way around the board! Would not recommend staying here. Rooms are dirty. There was mold growing in the bathroom. Customer service seemed non-existent. We had until 11 to check out the cleaning lady had walked in my daughter's room at 10 basically kicking her out. Made her feel very uncomfortable. If I could give a lower rating I would

Rodeway Inn Mount Laurel Hwy 73 Introduce

For local users Browse the "Hotels Near Of Me" category and seeking accommodation, Rodeway Inn Mount Laurel Hwy 73, located at 1132 NJ-73, Mt Laurel Township, NJ 08054, USA, presents itself as a budget-oriented option. The hotel can be contacted at (856) 656-2000 or +1 856-656-2000 for inquiries. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the hotel, drawing heavily from recent customer reviews to paint a realistic picture of the guest experience, as these reviews contain significant and critical information regarding the property.

The environment of Rodeway Inn Mount Laurel Hwy 73 is situated directly on NJ-73, a prominent highway in Mt Laurel Township. This location typically offers easy access to major roadways and may be surrounded by various commercial establishments, including gas stations, fast-food restaurants, and other businesses common along a highway corridor. While such a location can be convenient for travelers in transit, recent guest experiences paint a starkly negative picture of the hotel's internal environment and overall safety. One guest explicitly stated, "I felt very unsafe" due to "two random men, then later banged on my door around 1 o’clock in the morning and then another one a couple hours later." This profound concern for personal safety was exacerbated by being moved to a room with "no lock on the door" and a "random lady just walks in my room." These accounts suggest a highly insecure environment that can be deeply disturbing for guests. The negative feedback regarding the environment extends to cleanliness, with rooms described as "dirty" and "mold growing in the bathroom," indicating a significant lapse in basic hygiene standards. The overall atmosphere, as conveyed by these reviews, is one of considerable discomfort and risk, which is a critical aspect of any hotel stay.

Regarding services, Rodeway Inn Mount Laurel Hwy 73 appears to fall significantly short of basic expectations, as conveyed by recent guest feedback. Customer service is described as "non-existent." Issues with housekeeping were particularly alarming: a cleaning lady "walked in my daughter's room at 10 basically kicking her out" before the official 11 AM check-out time, causing discomfort. Furthermore, when a guest reported dirty sheets and a "completely black" dirty pillow, housekeeping initially "came in Wick, the stuff off the bed and proceeded to walk out like nothing happened." Only upon explicit request were new sheets provided. The front desk's response to serious safety concerns was also inadequate, with a guest being moved to a room that then lacked a functioning door lock, further compromising their security. This indicates a profound lack of proactive service, a failure to address immediate guest needs, and, most critically, a significant inability to ensure guest safety and comfort. While Rodeway Inn, as a brand, typically offers basic services like free Wi-Fi and complimentary coffee, the functionality or quality of these, and indeed the overarching customer support, appear to be severely compromised at this specific location according to guest accounts. There is no mention of other typical hotel services like a fitness center, pool, or business center in the provided reviews, and given the fundamental issues, their operational status or quality would be highly speculative.

The features of the rooms at Rodeway Inn Mount Laurel Hwy 73 are described in very negative terms by recent guests. Key in-room features like beds, sheets, and pillows were found to be "dirty," with "mold growing in the bathroom," highlighting significant hygiene and maintenance deficiencies. A critical functional issue reported was that "the air conditioning in the room fell apart completely." Perhaps the most alarming feature, or lack thereof, was a room having "no lock on the door," directly compromising guest security and privacy. While Rodeway Inn properties generally aim to provide essential features like a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a TV, the specific experiences at this location indicate that these fundamental features are either poorly maintained, non-functional, or actively unsafe. The presence of dirty amenities, non-functional air conditioning, and, most critically, compromised room security, are severe detriments to the guest experience. The property is part of the Choice Hotels brand, which typically offers free Wi-Fi in rooms, but the actual quality of this service is not specified in the provided reviews. Rodeway Inn is also typically a pet-friendly brand, often allowing pets with a fee, but this specific detail is not confirmed by the reviews. Given the severe issues reported, guests should not make assumptions about any additional amenities or their condition.

Regarding promotional information, specific promotions for Rodeway Inn Mount Laurel Hwy 73 are not detailed in the provided text. As part of the Choice Hotels family, guests would typically have access to the Choice Privileges loyalty program, which allows members to earn points for stays redeemable for free nights, gift cards, and other rewards. Choice Hotels also frequently offers various promotions, such as:

  • Advance Purchase Rates: Discounts for booking in advance.
  • Seasonal Deals: Offers tied to specific travel periods.
  • "Stay Longer & Save" Discounts: Reduced rates for extended stays.
  • AAA/AARP Discounts: Special rates for members of these organizations.
  • Military/Government Discounts: Preferred rates for qualifying personnel.

Prospective guests are strongly advised to contact the hotel directly via phone at (856) 656-2000 or +1 856-656-2000 to inquire about any current promotions. However, it is imperative for local users to consider the overwhelming negative feedback from recent guests. The repeated warnings like "Would not recommend staying here," "Will NEVER IN MY LIFE stay here again," and "I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are a female traveling alone," are extremely significant. The severe reports of uncleanliness, non-functional amenities, and, most critically, a profound lack of security and personal safety, make this hotel a highly questionable option. While it may appear under "Hotels Near Of Me" and potentially offer cheap rates, the risks associated with staying here, as described by multiple guests, far outweigh any potential cost savings. An objective assessment based on the provided information leads to a strong recommendation for potential guests to seek alternative accommodations for their safety and well-being.

I stayed at this hotel and had everything but a good time when I first checked in, they put me in a room with two beds. Both of the beds had dirty sheets. One of the beds had a dirty pillow that was completely black. I complained housekeeping came in Wick, the stuff off the bed and proceeded to walk out like nothing happened I asked for new sheets. They then changed me to a new room with one bed. The air conditioning in the room fell apart completely. Two random men, then later banged on my door around 1 o’clock in the morning and then another one a couple hours later I felt very unsafe. I went to the front desk and I let them know about that. The Man changed my room again. The room that they moved me to had no lock on the door and a couple hours later a random lady just walks in my room. That was absolutely it for me. My safety was at risk my whole entire stay. I ended up checking out early and going to a different hotel. Will NEVER IN MY LIFE stay here again. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are a female traveling alone.

It's a Rodeway Inn, the literal bottom of barrel for the Choice Hotels brands. But you know what you're getting in a Rodeway Inn: a bed and a shower on the cheap with availability never being in question. No frills whatsoever. That being said. This place is an absolute Mickey Mouse Operation level managed pile of garbage. If I could give it a negative score, I would. I don't even know where to begin. I spent 3 hours here, and it was the worst 3 hours I've ever had at a hotel/motel. It's the most suspect and seedy clientele you can imagine. The rooms are disgusting (though the bed is fine). Black mold all over the bathroom - rusted shower - stains all over the room with the furnishing in a relative level of disrepair. You'll probably catch the plague staying here, so you should avoid it like it's the plague.

First night was a cockroach. The bathroom did not look like I would ever shower in it. The bed sheets were clean. The guy was kind enough to switch me rooms. The second room was bad in different ways. Such as the fridge didn’t work and the a/c unit was super loud. So if you stay. Be prepared to not look at anything other than the bed. Or don’t be picky? Just so you are not led on by the nice photos.

I pulled into the parking lot and it shares a lot with a weed dispensary. Not a good start. Best part of the stay was that the check-in staff was nice. Got to the room, opened the door and the room smelled stranger than anywhere else I have stayed. Went to lock the door behind me, but after the deadbolt, the additional chain or latch that most hotels/motel have was missing. Put my bag down and sat at the end of the bed and nearly tumbled backwards. I realized that the bed was on a 10 degree pitch, with the head of the bed being lower than the foot of the bed. I was concerned to look under the bed for fear of what I might find. I got up to close the blackout curtains and found that there were tears in the curtains and had to primp it to make sure no one could see in. Then I noticed that there were plaster plugs in a few of the corners of the room, apparently plugging up mouse holes. The shower was a bit creepy. Something (don't know exactly what) was in the drain that I wouldn't go near. When I drew the shower curtain it contained a clear panel at eye level, presumably so you could see out. But the clear plastic was stained amber to orange across the panel. Around 10:50pm there was a knock on my door. I checked my phone for a message from the motel and there was nothing. Not knowing anyone in the area, I ignored the knock. A couple of hours later I ran out to the Wawa across the street and when I did I noticed a mattress outside one of the rooms two or three rooms over. On my return, I saw on the 2nd level that there were a couple of mattresses leaning against the railing outside a room up there. Around 2am there was another pair of knocks on my door. This time I got up, scared and concerned, and asked who it was. The person responded "C'mon man, open the door! You know who dis is!" When I said I had no idea who it was there was no reply and no further door knocking. I couldn't wait to get out in the morning. If you are considering staying here, be wise and stay in your car instead. You're better off.
