The rooms are fine, but there is one specific staff member that works the front desk who is AMAZING. Her name is Rosalind. She is literally a breath of fresh air. She was very considerate and accommodating. She treated my son and I with so much respect and she went out her way to show us kindness. We need more people like her in the world! Thank you Rosalind.

Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Laurel-Philadelphia Introduce

For local users in Philadelphia and the surrounding South Jersey area seeking "Hotels Near Of Me," the Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Laurel-Philadelphia, located at 350 Century Pkwy, Mt Laurel Township, NJ 08054, USA, presents itself as a viable option. The hotel can be reached via phone at (856) 282-1500 or mobile at +1 856-282-1500. This introduction will provide a detailed and objective overview of the hotel's environment, services, features, and promotional information, drawing from a variety of online sources and, importantly, contrasting guest reviews.

The environment of the Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Laurel-Philadelphia, situated in a business park area of Mount Laurel, is designed to be convenient for both business and leisure travelers. It benefits from its strategic location off the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295, providing easy access to Philadelphia (approximately 25 minutes away), the Jersey Shore, and various local attractions. These attractions include the Garden State Discovery Museum, Coco Key Water Resort, Moorestown Mall, Cherry Hill Mall, and Topgolf Mount Laurel. The immediate surroundings are characterized by other hotels and office buildings, contributing to a professional, albeit perhaps somewhat generic, atmosphere. The hotel itself features interior corridors, which often enhance a sense of security and quiet. While some general descriptions portray the hotel as having "modern accommodations," customer reviews paint a more nuanced picture. One review explicitly mentions the "reception area and the entire building smells weed," and that "rooms are pretty much have broken." This starkly contrasts with other, more positive assessments, and suggests that the overall environmental experience can be inconsistent. Some guests have also reported issues with noise, including "loud noises" according to a recent review. Despite these concerns, other recent feedback from April and May 2025 described the hotel as "really nice and clean and fresh," and "Good place," and "Clean, economically sound and friendly staff," highlighting a divergence in guest perceptions of the hotel's immediate environment and condition.

Regarding services, the Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Laurel-Philadelphia offers a range of amenities typically found in a mid-range hotel. A key service is the complimentary hot breakfast, which guests can enjoy to start their day. However, a customer review indicates potential issues with consistency or quality, stating "I had to ask for coffee." The hotel also provides free WiFi throughout the property, and guests can connect to the internet with reported speeds of 100+ Mbps, which is suitable for multiple devices. A significant highlight, as noted by a customer, is the staff, particularly an individual named Rosalind, who was praised as "AMAZING," "literally a breath of fresh air," "very considerate and accommodating," and someone who "treated my son and I with so much respect and she went out her way to show us kindness." This indicates that while general property conditions may vary, exceptional customer service can be a strong point. However, another review describes the reception as having "blindly brush u off without even confirming or asking what was lost" in response to alleged theft by cleaning staff, suggesting severe inconsistencies in front desk responsiveness to serious issues. Housekeeping services are offered once every three days for longer stays, a policy that one reviewer found inadequate, stating "even cheap motels provide u with towels everyday I’m not sure-where’s the comfort in Comfort Inn suites??" This indicates a potential service gap for guests expecting daily refreshing of towels and linens. The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing dogs for an extra charge (USD 25 per accommodation, per night, with a maximum of USD 150 per stay, and a limit of two pets up to 75 lbs). Other services include a 24-hour front desk, express check-out, free self-parking (including for RVs/buses/trucks), a fitness center, and a business center. While some online sources mention an indoor pool, others do not, and its operational status or quality should be verified by potential guests. The hotel also offers laundry facilities for guest use, a snack bar/deli, and coffee/tea in common areas.

The features of the Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Laurel-Philadelphia are designed to provide a comfortable stay, particularly for those on extended visits. The hotel has 117 rooms, many of which are suites, offering more space than standard hotel rooms. In-room features include flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, and USB ports. Guests also have access to private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Select rooms may include a sofa bed or a hot tub, catering to varying guest needs. The presence of a "small bathroom vanity" was noted by one reviewer. The rooms also typically include a desk and chair, iron and ironing board, and a safe. The hotel emphasizes its "premium bedding" for a comfortable sleep. The property's amenities include a fitness center, which is a valuable feature for maintaining health routines while traveling. Although the state of the rooms has been described by some as "broken" or "outdated room decor," other very recent reviews contradict this, with guests reporting "clean and comfortable room" and "nice and clean and fresh" conditions, suggesting inconsistent room maintenance or varying guest expectations. Accessibility features are available, with accessible rooms including grab bars, height-adjustable showerheads, and visual alarms in public hallways. The hotel also features an elevator/lift. The "free hot breakfast" is a notable feature, though its actual consistency might vary based on reviews. The inclusion of a microwave and refrigerator in rooms is a significant convenience, allowing guests to store and reheat food. The presence of free Wi-Fi and ample parking are also practical features for guests.

From a promotional standpoint, the Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Laurel-Philadelphia leverages its affiliation with the reputable Comfort Inn brand, which suggests a certain level of quality and consistency. Its primary promotional message focuses on offering "modern accommodations" and "welcoming service." Key promotional highlights include its "free hot breakfast," "free WiFi," and "free parking," appealing to budget-conscious travelers. The strategic location near major highways and popular local attractions in Mount Laurel, along with its accessibility to Philadelphia, is also a strong selling point for both leisure and business guests. The pet-friendly policy is actively promoted, attracting a specific segment of the traveling public. The positive feedback about specific staff members, such as Rosalind, can be a powerful word-of-mouth promotional tool, emphasizing the human element of hospitality. However, the hotel faces significant challenges in its promotional efforts due to the contrasting and at times highly negative customer reviews. Phrases like "reception area and the entire building smells weed," "rooms are pretty much have broken," and serious allegations of theft by cleaning staff ("the room cleaning service people would steal your stuff") coupled with an unhelpful reception, severely undermine any positive promotional messages. The explicit advice "I would not recommend this place.. save your time and peace and book your stay else where" and "DO NOT STAY HERE!" are extremely damaging. While the hotel can promote its amenities and location, the stark reality presented by some customer experiences suggests that potential guests searching "Hotels Near Of Me" would need to carefully weigh the positive staff mentions against the serious concerns regarding cleanliness, room condition, odors, and especially security of valuables. The varying experiences highlight a critical need for consistency in maintaining the property and addressing guest concerns to align with the brand's promised "comfort" and "quality."

The reception area and the entire building smells weed and rooms are pretty much have broken. They offer room service once every 3days for people with longer stay- even cheap motels provide u with towels everyday I’m not sure-where’s the comfort in Comfort Inn suites?? And the worst of the worst experience is don’t leave your valuables in the room when u away- the room cleaning service people would steal your stuff and the reception would blindly brush u off without even confirming or asking what was lost and all. They deny that they didn’t find anything in the room. Unless u tell them that u gonna call cops- these are my genuine personal experience. I would not recommend this place.. save your time and peace and book your stay else where

Let me start by saying. I am a choice member. Have been. Just renewed. I am absolutely disgusted by my stay at this hotel. From the moment we checked in, it was one issue after another. Our original room was in terrible condition…the bed felt like it was falling apart with every move, the air conditioner barely worked and made an awful noise as if it was about to catch fire, and the only mirror with a vanity light didn’t even function. It was clear no one had properly maintained the room. When we brought these issues to the front desk, the woman was kind and switched our room, but the problems didn’t stop there. Our room keys stopped working repeatedly, forcing us to go back down to the lobby multiple times just to get into our own room. With one elevator being down our entire stay. You can see how frustrating that can be. This happened throughout our entire stay, making it feel more like a hassle than a hotel stay. Also, having to go down a floor just to get ice Because a broken ice machine on our floor was a nice touch. But When I called to kindly ask for extra towels, because we had to use a towel to put on the floor from the shower being there was NO water curtain & it barely touched to the tub. I was told “You can come down & get them”. So going down to get towels I was then informed..I needed to “bring the old towels down to switch them out.” Excuse me? I was appalled. Also, Not being allowed to bring breakfast into my room? but then getting food delivered to my door…I’m not sure what is the difference. To top it off, when we asked for a late checkout due to all these issues, we were told there was a $20 fee…a ridiculous charge considering the problems we endured. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels where late checkout is offered as a courtesy, especially after a stay filled with inconveniences. Then, when I inquired about booking another night since our flight wasn’t until 8 PM, I was shocked to see that the rate was even higher than when I originally booked. This experience has been beyond frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. For the price we paid, we expected at least a functional, comfortable room….not a series of problems that made our stay miserable. Avoid this place at all costs.

Decent place to stay, they have breakfast included which is nice but are weird about you taking anything back to your room from the dining area. There’s a walmart within walking distance which is very convenient. They messed up the booking a little bit (error on their part) but Linda at the front desk was super nice and helpful !! They did however double charge me on my credit card, waiting for a refund.
