The environment of Red Roof Inn Mt Laurel, as perceived by recent guests, can be characterized as a basic, no-frills motel. It is located in Mt Laurel Township, New Jersey, and its proximity to major roads is typical for a roadside inn. The presence of a Walmart nearby has been noted by guests, which can be either a convenience for shopping or a potential indicator of a busier, more transient area, depending on individual preferences. Reviews suggest the exterior and common areas may show signs of age and general wear, reflecting its status as an older property (built in 1981, with the last renovation noted as 2004 or 2019 depending on the source). The overall ambiance appears to be geared towards short, functional stays where affordability is a primary driver.
Regarding services, Red Roof Inn Mt Laurel generally offers what is expected from a budget hotel. It features a 24-hour front desk, ensuring that assistance is available around the clock. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, though its quality has been a point of contention in recent reviews, with some guests reporting it to be unreliable or non-functional. The hotel has self-serve laundry facilities, which can be a convenience for travelers, although reviews mention that these facilities may not always be in working order. Daily housekeeping is typically provided for stays of 6 nights or less, with limited service for longer stays. Guests may find coffee and tea available in a common area. It's important for potential guests to check the official Red Roof Inn website or reputable booking platforms for the most current promotional offers and to verify the amenities available in specific room types at the Mt Laurel location. Given the feedback from recent guests, managing expectations regarding the condition of certain in-room amenities (like coffee makers, microwaves, or general state of repair) is advisable. May 19, 2025 · Alivia GarciaOld, rundown motel. The staff are friendly and trying their best. No bugs. Things in disrepair. 1st room: had not been cleaned since the last people left. 2nd room: no toilet paper. The manager came by 15 minutes after assigning the room and asked me to move to a third room because “this is someone else’s room.” 3rd room: coffee-maker broken. Phone not connected to anything. A coat rack has been torn from the wall and hanging there broken. Wheel missing from the desk chair. The bathroom was relatively new. Plenty of hot water for morning shower. One dinky towel. No breakfast. Coffee pots empty in the lobby. I stayed here because it is cheap. I felt safe. I would stay again if I needed to, although I don’t expect this place to be here much longer.
May 03, 2025 · Francis GoodwinNot a bath towel insight Above counter sink loose No trash can in room Others trash left in drawer Several cigarette burns on bed cover (it’s a non smoking room) Floors sticky yuck Filthy wall next to bed Super noisy at night in parking lot. We stayed here because of the location, and convenience of being able to have our pups with us.
Apr 28, 2025 · Maria GelfandThe lampshade was all ripped up, the room was very dirty, there were marks and graffiti on the walls and ceiling. It smelt horribly of smoke. The lock was being held together by string. We ended up just driving home late at night instead of staying over. Would not recommend.
Apr 14, 2025 · Sara SmithChecked in after driving 17 hours. At night the place didn't look too run down but when I walked to our room I noticed that there was outside maintenance needed. When we got to the room however we were disgusted. It smelled terrible, one of the main lamp lights was literally broken, the molding around the floor base was all broken (there was considerable space for insects and rodents to get from room to room if there were any), the sink drained very slowly and water filled quickly. We were so tired from our ride that we didn't request our money back and find another place to stay but we didn't bring clothes in and we slept in our clothes above the sheets in case of bed bugs which we truly believed were likely in this place. I would never stay there again and had we been smart enough to read previous reviews before we stopped, we wouldn't have stayed there then either.
