I recently stayed at the Sheraton Hotel and had an overall pleasant experience, with just one significant exception that I feel compelled to address. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a restful stay. The common areas of the hotel, including the lobby and recreational facilities, were also impressive. I enjoyed the lobby and outside area, which were both clean and well maintained . The front desk service was helpful and informative, making my experience even better. However, my experience at the breakfast area was marred by the behavior of one staff member, Manuel. While the food was enjoyable and the selection plentiful, Manuel’s demeanor was disappointing. He was demeaning and rude, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere for guests. I felt that his behavior went beyond just poor customer service; it felt like racial profiling when he approached the front desk to inquire about the number of people in my room. This type of treatment is unacceptable and overshadowed the otherwise positive aspects of my stay. In conclusion, while the Sheraton Hotel provides a great experience with excellent facilities and friendly staff, it is essential for management to address issues of disrespect and discrimination among employees. I hope that my feedback will lead to improvements in the training and conduct of staff, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued stay.

Sheraton Rockville Hotel Introduce

For us Marylanders, especially those residing in or frequently traveling through Montgomery County, knowing about reliable and comfortable hotel options close to home is invaluable. Whether you’re planning a relaxing staycation, hosting out-of-town guests, or on a business trip along the I-270 corridor, the Sheraton Rockville Hotel in King Farm presents itself as a notable choice. Part of the well-regarded Marriott family, this hotel aims to offer a blend of modern amenities and welcoming service that makes any stay convenient and pleasant. It’s a familiar name that brings a certain level of expectation for comfort and quality, right here in our own backyard.

Stepping into the Sheraton Rockville Hotel, you'll generally find a well-maintained environment designed for both relaxation and productivity. Guests often commend the smooth and efficient check-in process, which is always a welcome start to any visit. The rooms are frequently described as spacious, clean, and well-equipped with necessary amenities, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The common areas, including the lobby and outside spaces, are also noted for their cleanliness and inviting atmosphere, providing comfortable spots to unwind or connect with others. This commitment to maintaining a pleasant physical environment is a significant factor for us as local users when choosing accommodations.

However, it's equally important for us to address the full picture when it comes to guest experiences. While the hotel generally receives positive feedback for its facilities and the helpfulness of its front desk staff, some past reviews have highlighted concerning interactions with a specific staff member in the breakfast area. Reports of a demeaning and unfriendly demeanor, and even perceived racial profiling in inquiries about room occupancy, are serious matters that prospective guests should be aware of. We, as Marylanders, value respectful and equitable treatment for everyone, and it's essential that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The hotel management's attention to such feedback is crucial for ensuring that these isolated incidents do not detract from the otherwise positive aspects of the Sheraton Rockville Hotel experience. Despite these specific concerns, the hotel continues to serve as a convenient and comfortable lodging option in our community, striving to uphold the standards associated with the Sheraton brand.

We were transferred here from a sister hotel and overall had a very pleasant five-night stay. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. However, our experience at breakfast was unfortunately less positive. The host, Manuel, was consistently unfriendly and made us feel uncomfortable. Each morning, he would ask for our room number and how many people were staying with us—even though we were there for 5 days. Strangely, he seemed to recognize and warmly greet other guests, remembering them by name or face, but never extended the same courtesy to us. One morning, he even went to the front desk to verify how many people were in our room, which felt unnecessary and a bit invasive. Despite that, the rest of the staff were lovely and made our stay enjoyable. We would consider returning, but hope that all guests are treated with the same level of courtesy in the future—especially at breakfast.

Your standard aging Sheraton... generic and perfectly OK. However: A parking fee... here? Come on, people -- what a ripoff. $10/night would be understandable if we were in the middle of a city... but charging for parking in the 'burbs (lots and lots of space here, folks!) is a cash grab of the worst sort. Pathetic and lame and Sheraton should be ashamed for treating their customers like that.

I Booked a one night stay for my Anniversary 02/15/25. I had dinner reservation at a near by restaurants. The room was great nice calm soothing atmosphere. Check-in staff was very professional and pleasant. Only a minor misunderstanding with breakfast it was a easy fix we had a option to add the cost to our room bill or pay with credit. My major problem is I left a brand new black leather trench coat in the room armoire. Called the front desk that evening the lady informed me that housekeeping left for that day to call back in the morning and speak the housekeeping manager. The gentlemen that i spoke too stated that nobody has turned in a coat an he will send out a message. Along with a call back by the end of day or next day. No call was received from staff i called back myself the gentleman stated that he has a gray coat. NO sir i described a black leather trench coat. In my personal view the staff are untrustworthy or honest in regards to personal items that are left behind in hotel rooms. The items are not reported an sent to a lost and found system. At this point it seems to me that a staff member kept the coat for themselves. NOW that it currently 02/25/25 still no response from the hotel

Old and outdated. We had to switch rooms because the AC was out. Both rooms had different amenities, mismatching doorknobs, odd screws, paint over wallpaper, paints spills, different lightbulbs used in the same multi-bulb fixture, old worn furniture. This hotel is NOT a good representation of the Marriott brand. Disappointed.
