Sonder Flatiron

Excellent location - please invest in decent windows. The location is so central and easy to get on the subway from multiple places. Hotel is clean and well done and the rooms are very spacious (especially for mid town NYC). the windows haven 't been updated in decades to they leak cold/hot air and let a lot of noise in from the street. Otherwise this is a GREAT find I would definitely recommend for business and personal travel

This is an excellent hotel for couples or single people. The rooms are small but appropriately priced given the premium location of the hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly and the rooms are very well maintained and the TV in the rooms are large. I don't recommend bringing children because of the small size of the rooms, this is definitely more of a singles or couples only kind of a hotel but I highly recommend it in those situations.

I recently stayed at the Flatiron Sonder for a work trip. Overall it's a fantastic hotel. Room was clean and comfy. Only issues I had were how thin the walls are. Being able to hear other guests conversations and other activities wasn't ideal, but not horribly disruptive. Overall had a great time

The concept, staff and location of this extended stay property is incredible. The property was clean and the bed was comfortable. While this is not a luxury experience, it is perfectly lovely for the price point. If you are not a native city dweller being in this location, probably isn’t for you. But it was utterly perfect for me. You are surrounded by wonderful restaurants and retail shopping with multiple trains just under your feet. My only disappointment was the condition of the rooms. Wear and tear has not been addressed. The property is being allowed to decline, which seems to be a trend in hotels these days. I really hope they refurbish and fix the damages because then this would be a five star experience. One other thing to note is there is no doorman or valet to help with luggage and parking your car. However if the staff are not busy they are more than willing to help out. And there are two parking lots located on the same block. Also to know is that there is no one at the desk after 11 PM. Which made no difference for me. I will definitely be staying at this property again.

We stayed at Sonder Flatiron for 9 nights for work meetings and personal activities. Perfect vibrant location close to subway, buses and very good restaurants and cafes and very safe neighbourhood. Loved the closeness to Madison Square Park, lots of services around - Wholefoods, Walgreens, Best Buy, etc. The staff were extremely accommodating and the Queen Plus room worked well for us with additional space, small kitchen (bar fridge, microwave, sink, crockery and cutlery), very good shower and large windows to along the wall provided excellent SE sunlight with 26th street facing. Team said next time to book King Plus and will definitely do if available. Thank you Sonder Flatiron Team!!
