The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad is a contemporary luxury hotel located in one of Manhattan’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The property features sleek, modern design throughout, with rooms that offer floor-to-ceiling windows, marble bathrooms, and sweeping city views—some overlooking famous landmarks like the Empire State Building. Rooms are modern and designed with a luxurious and clean minimalist aesthetic with plush bedding, marble bathrooms and walk in showers. However, given the narrow physical footprint of the hotel, there is not much space to layout luggage or spread out. Light sleepers also take note that the surrounding area is busy with night clubs and bars, and there is a busker who plays piano late into the night which may be bothersome. Street level noise is also present throughout the day as it is near the garment and flower district (garbage/delivery trucks) and a large construction site. Amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and several dining options. Zaytinya, led by Chef José Andrés, serves Eastern Mediterranean cuisine in a bright, stylish setting. The hotel’s rooftop lounge, Nubeluz, offers panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline along with craft cocktails and small plates. The staff here are absolutely amazing and are some of the best hospitality professionals we have ever met. One particular Guest Relation Specialist (Amy C.) made our stay especially memorable by arranging champagne, cake and Ritz Carlton themed gifts for our children, and throughout our stay we met staff who were pleasant and helpful. Our Marriott status was also recognized during our stay and we were given a top level floor with fantastic views. The hotel’s location provides convenient access to Midtown, Chelsea, and Madison Square Park via subway or bus, making it a strong option for both leisure and business travelers looking for a polished, high-end stay in New York City. A house car is also available (Cadillac Lyriq) and will take you within a few miles radius of the hotel. Tips for the driver are accepted. Given the extremely high price point (as much as $1,200 a night) the Ritz Carlton Nomad competes head to head with other ultra luxury properties in the city. If you are heavily invested in the Marriott system and have the points to spend, it is an ideal place to enjoy a luxury hotel experience in a vibrant and bustling neighborhood.

Mar 21, 2025 · Andrew LimOur recent stay at the Ritz Carlton Nomad, NYC was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, Kevin greeted us at the front door with such kindness, setting a wonderful tone for our visit. Queenie at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to work with, ensuring our check-in was smooth and accommodating. The hotel itself is simply a cut above the rest. The design is beautifully crafted, offering a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. What truly set our experience apart were the little "extras" that delighted our kids beyond measure. From the charming floral cart in the lobby to the thoughtfully curated toy chest, every detail was designed to impress. Our kids couldn't wait to explore the lobby each day! Additionally, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient for accessing all of our kids' most wanted attractions in the city. The house car service provided by the hotel made it easy for us to travel to these attractions hassle-free. Thank you to the entire staff at Ritz Carlton Nomad for creating such a memorable stay for our family. We can't wait to return!
Mar 04, 2025 · Morgan SaatchiCheck in staff could use some training on resolution when guests confirmation specifically states room with club access. Had to call Delta Vacations and spend 30 minutes on phone with them and hotel to get room straightened out. Room and view were gorgeous as well as club lounge. Club also had great selections of beverages and food, wait staff was wonderful.
Mar 22, 2025 · Melissa WyattLoved our stay. The views on the rooftop were amazing and the service was wonderful although they did forget turn down service one day which was a bummer. However, all other days it was top-notch service especially from the house cleaning staff. The bellman, Carson, went out of his way to help us with an item we needed and that really stood out to us. All the doormen are so fun and cool. Really nice guys to talk to. Our only complaint is one of the house car drivers was very openly upset that he had to go 1.9 miles (the limit is 2 miles). He claimed the limit was 20 blocks even though the hotel reinforced it was 2 miles and that was a very awkward and uncomfortable drive because of his bad attitude. However, The driver we had a few days before was a lovely older gentleman. Hotel can reach out if they want the name of the rude driver. All in all we will be back!
Feb 17, 2025 · BrittHad a phenomenal time staying here! The service was absolutely phenomenal and by far the best house keeping! The views of this place are absolutely stunning! Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Just blown away by the quality and the details of the service. Matt was incredibly upbeat and had a contagious positivity during our check in process along with Trevor. Dwayne was so kind to assist us with taking our luggage to our room. He even gave us a tour of the room and how to operate the lights and thermostat! That stuff can be so confusing sometimes so it’s such a nice detail to show us how to do it. Everyone we left or came back to the hotel we were always greeted very warmly by the staff. Nubeluz is also a great addition at this hotel with beautiful views of the cityscape. Luis was our bartender and gave us phenomenal service. Loved the vibe and atmosphere of the bar. Just an absolutely amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back! If you care about details and amazing service. This is the hotel for you.
