My Wife and I had the time of a Lifetime at Sonder Henri on 24. Truly felt like our home away from home the week we stayed. Everyone of the staff we dealt with were amazing and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again. Location is perfect for people who want to explore all that NYC has to offer, close to Metro Stations, Starbucks, Eataly, Flatiron and short walking distance to awesome shopping. Highly recommend the balcony room, incredible views!

My stay was fine, but I had an issue with borrowing and returning an umbrella. I left the umbrella in my room at checkout and informed the staff via the Sonder app, who acknowledged it. However, I was later charged $20, and the staff claimed the umbrella was missing. As a foreign visitor, I had no reason to take it, and the charge was unfair. Despite my prior notice, the hotel treated it as lost, which was disappointing. This service needs improvement.

It's a great hotel, good location and really friendly staff. The room has everything you need, iron, coffee/tea, microwave. Very clean, bathroom was nice and spacious. You're not getting a lot of bedroom space but that's no different than any other NYC hotel. The price was crazy but only because it was Xmas lights switch on at Rockefeller. $900+ for a $200 room is just outrageous. That's the only reason I dropped a star.

Good location. Cheapest rate I could find in the area. Room was pretty clean. The only issue was that the rooms don't have mini-fridges. They have wine coolers instead, which isn't cold enough to store perishable food. A mini fridge would be a better use of that space in my opinion. The room has a microwave, which is typically used to reheat things in your fridge, so microwave with no fridge is a bit unusual.

Pretty bad experience - fiendishly loud heating/conditioner rendering it impossible to sleep. Noisy flag clanking just outside the room. No hot water on one day (the quite from the staff was ‘ maintenance will get here in a few hours’). We got bumped here from another property of theirs (albeit with a 50$ credit FWIW). Oh it’s a pain to check in, everything is app based.
