113 W 24th St, New York, NY 10001, USA
To say the rooms are small is being generous - bathroom did not have room for a sink so that was in the bedroom. Soundproofing poor. No coffee facilities. Staff are polite, but don't ask them anything out of the ordinary. Cleanliness good. Bar is popular. Good location close to the iconic Chelsea Hotel. Gym small but has everything you need.

The hotel's location is frequently praised as excellent, with multiple subway entrances nearby, providing easy access to explore the city. It is also conveniently close to the iconic Chelsea Hotel. The bar at the hotel is noted to be popular, suggesting a lively social atmosphere.
Guests generally found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful, particularly with services like storing luggage before check-in. The cleanliness of the hotel is also rated as good.
However, several reviews mention that the rooms are small, with one guest stating that calling them small is "being generous." In some room layouts, the sink is located in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. Soundproofing is reported to be poor, which could impact the comfort of your stay. Additionally, the rooms do not come equipped with coffee facilities.
One guest who stayed in a "Landmark City View" room on the 27th floor found the room to be small but well laid out, with the view being a highlight. They appreciated the ability to control room lights from the TV, though the app controls did not work for them. This guest ordered room service, which they found expensive but not unreasonably so, noting that it arrived quickly and tasted great.
A minor quirk mentioned was the presence of $5 water bottles in the room that are actually included in the room cost, which was explained at check-in but still seemed unusual to one guest. The hotel also has a small gym equipped with essential items.

Mar 26, 2025 · Karen WilliamsonI stayed in one of the "Landmark City View" rooms on the 27th floor. The room was pretty small but was very well laid out, and the view was exactly what I was hoping for. The ability to control the room lights from the TV was super cool, though I couldn't get the controls in the app to work. I ordered room service on my first night and while it was pretty expensive, I don't think it was unreasonable and it arrived quickly and tasted great. The front desk staff was all friendly, and they have a good system for storing luggage ahead of check-in. The location is excellent with multiple subway entrances nearby. There was some weirdness like the $5 water bottles in the room that are actually included in the room cost (explained by the front desk during check in but still strange to me), but overall a great experience.
Feb 10, 2025 · Harrison WalkerWe had a lovely one night stay here. Rooms are definitely small, but were very clean and modern/well decorated. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Location is pretty good and walkable too with some nice restaurants in the area. Only real downfall was the time it can take waiting for elevators. It is a very tall building so understandable, but wish they had elevators for certain levels as I've seen in other hotels. Overall, would definitely stay again for a short trip!
Dec 22, 2024 · Alexia HernandezBeautiful hotel tucked into a relatively quiet side street. As many others have posted, the rooms are small but very comfortable and well laid out. The restaurant and bar on the first floor are welcoming and it seemed that many people like to hang out there. No problems at all with the elevators which other reviewers have mentioned were slow; we did not find that to be true. Received a lot of help from front desk staff, especially Maggie.
Feb 19, 2025 · dmrThis is a place that LOOKS good but doesn’t do the basics right. I stayed 4 nights on 12th floor. On previous trips, I stayed at more dated hotels like the Holiday Inn and the Towne Suites by Marriott nearby and enjoyed those more. One of them has free breakfast. Noise - you can hear people opening and closing doors clackity clacking ALL THE TIME or talking in the hall. Vinyl fake hardwood flooring in the room, large gap below door. Plus windows not sound proof enough, nor the walls. You can hear the street and other people / their TVs. Bring noise cancelling airpods or ear plugs. FAIL. Elevators - slow and staff use them instead of a service elevator. You can be waiting for a while, especially on higher floors. FAIL. Sheets and cover - the duvet is paper thin and the sheets are cleaned with some type of chemicals that will make you itch or irritate your sense of smell if you’re sensitive. FAIL. Temperature/HVAC - It was hard to get the temperature that was set on the thermostat and it seemed like the room was often too hot or too cold or the fan was running all the time. Turning it off, the room temperature rose quickly. FAIL. Lights - the lighting is too dim to get ready at night or in the morning even with all the lights turned on including the sink halo light. FAIL. Bed and Pillows - OK, but not as comfortable as they should be for this class. PASS. Service - Front Desk staff are friendly and helpful but if you ask for something like extra sheets from the cleaning staff, there is a language barrier (got another duvet instead) and there are only Spanish-speaking/Latino staff. Diversity should be about attracting people from all backgrounds reflective of the city and your guests and paying enough so that you can get English speaking staff or pay for their classes or train on how to use translation apps to interact with guests. That said, rooms and common areas were clean. GOOD for front desk, PASS for cleaning Water Pressure - A bit on the low and slow side for hot water but sufficient. PASS. Space/Design - there were some good features like drawers in the bed and space under to store luggage. The design looks good. The sink being in the main room though is not great, I rather have it in the bathroom. PASS. Fridge - is too small to be practical but was enough for my soy milk. PASS. Gym - Small and no weight machines. Clean and has a few cardio machines, weights, TRX, balancing moon. Filtered water. PASS. Location - steps from the subway, Whole Foods down the street, and a few good options for food nearby. Walking distance to many attractions including High Line and Chelsea market but really anywhere in lower Manhattan. A bit noisy from the street so I used noise cancelling airpods or ear plugs. GOOD.
