We recently stayed at the Sonesta to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were very impressed by the expansive executive suite. The room portion was a bit tight but the living area as you can see in the video was expansive. Great for a small gathering or celebration. We only visited one night and were not able to enjoy the amenities. The bar was great. I highly recommend the the Brown Sugar Old fashioned or Yellow Jacket if you prefer something on the sweeter end. Portions at the restaurant were not the most generous, but the stake was very well charred. We didn’t bring our pup, but it seemed very pet friendly. We’d definitely go back to explore more. Great for a staycation or a weekend getaway.

Apr 03, 2025 · Timothy MontalvoI was looking for a hotel to stay at for my daughter‘s birthday. She really wanted to go somewhere nice that had a pool and a good view. Well, the Sonesta hotel was just that. First when I checked in I met Iris, she was so sweet, caring and generous, not knowing that I was there for my daughter‘s birthday she displayed excellent customer service, providing her with a coloring book and some crayons to make the start of her welcoming and comfortable. My experience throughout the entire stay was excellent; the lobby was beautiful, the rooms were clean and modern not to mention the pool was a wonderful touch. There was a point at the pool room where we ran out of towels and a staff member quickly supplied myself and my family with additional towels, following this housekeeping came to our room to ensure that we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short or long-term stay conveniently placed in the heart of White Plains. You can’t go wrong staying at the Sonesta thank you Sonesta for such a wonderful experience. My daughter loved it and we will see you again.
May 01, 2025 · Dinah JoshuaStayed last weekend for a training. We were working hard so we ate all of our meals at the hotel. Every meal was good but even better was the staff. The people serving were always so friendly and helpful. They knew we were working early and late and always let us take a little snack to hold us over until the next meal. The rooms were clean and modern. Sonesta also matched my Marriott Level which will be a benefit I will use in the future. I didn't have time to venture into the local area but it seemed to be filled with shopping/ restaurants/ bars/ etc. Parking was convenient with the attached garage. Would definitely stay here again if in the White Plains area.
Apr 12, 2025 · Michael MartinOverpriced bar and buffet. Something is wrong when you check in, and you're told 2 bottles of water are included in the price of the room. Let us know if you don't have them. At 830 on a Saturday morning, the cleaning staff was ridiculously loud in the hallway when I went for coffee. The service at Valet was the best.
May 13, 2025 · MARK GassmanI used an app named Resort pass to utilize the swimming pool. We had great experience it was empty so my daughter and I were able to enjoy the entire pool to ourselves. Pool area was nice and warm. The water was clean and warm also. I would definitely be returning.
