Our stay at the Stowe Log Chalet was absolutely amazing. This was our second year in a row and we loved our stay. Located in a secluded area at the end of a dead end road, we had all the privacy we needed. Our grand children could slide on the hill just outside the back door followed by many trips to the outdoor hot tub . We were warm and cozy before the large two story chimney that supported a huge hearth in the living room. At night we sat around the beautiful fire pit next to the sliding hill as the children continued their day of fun.The chalet was definitely built by a skilled crafts person . The exposed logs , along with the hand crafted railings on the stairways , gave it a feeling of not so much of a logs cabin but a work of art. When we walked through the door the first time it was "Wow..This place is amazing." With our three families of twelve people there was more than ample room with the 9 queen sized beds and 4 bathrooms. Centrally located, two of our days were spent shopping and having dinner in Stowe followed by a trip to the local Christmas tree farm on our way home. In addition, the owners were only a phone call away and immediately addressed any questions that we might have. Our stay was was definitely relaxing, comfortable, and fun filled. Can't wait to go back.

Dec 18, 2019 · Kathy HuntWe just stayed for 3 nights at the main house in Stowe Vermont. The location on main street was wonderful. We walked to all the shops and restaurants and the bike path was just across the street. The home is great and came well equipped with dishes, towels, blankets and even firewood for the fireplace. The home has been updated with modern comforts while still maintaining a New England feel. We wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this home.
Oct 11, 2019 · Carlos SchmidtWe stayed two nights in this sizeable chalet and were immediately impressed by the charming, rustic decor and unhindered views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. We opted to stay in the open loft on the second floor and were not disappointed (see photos)! The chalet is a short drive from downtown Stowe, as well as neighboring Morrisville and Morristown, yet provides a calm and intimate setting perfect for all occasions from parties to honeymoons (as was our case)! Expectations for us as renters were clear and well indicated, and the owner made himself available to assist us with whatever we might require. On a more technical note, the hot water was abundant, the furnishings were comfortable, the lighting (natural and electric) was ample, the wifi signal was strong and unrestricted, and the venue felt safe and secure. We will definitely be stopping by again during our next visit to Vermont!
Nov 16, 2019 · XandraMy family rented this place to stay at for my sisters wedding. The property is nice, the view is amazing, but the interior was filthy. The toilet in the basement upon arrival was filled with poop and plugged. Everything on the main floor was covered in dust from the prior day of a construction crew redoing the flooring. Dishes were dirty and had to be washed. No dish cleaning cloths or sponges were available. No dish towels or hand towels. We are a party of twelve and there is only about 10 towels for showering. The hot tub was filthy and disgusting looking. There are bugs everywhere. We were told that we were the first people to rent it for the year. It should have been amazingly clean for first time use for the year. There was used soap bars in the shower! There was a paint roller in the fridge. The bed sheets on some beds were dirty. One looked like it had poop on it. Another one had bugs and hair in it. More dirty toilets. Hot tub lid doesn't even fit the hot tub. I do not know how this place ever got 5 stars on the rental websites.
