It was clean and quiet, lovely front porch to sit on in the morning. Easy parking. Body lotion and soap were mounted to the wall very conveniently. I stayed on a Saturday night in May and was sad that the breakfast was served “grab and go” style. All plastic and paper dishes and nothing hot! :(( NOT what I expected after paying over $500. ***If your Sunday breakfast is way more low key than normal, you should please really make sure to advertise this so that guests aren’t taken by surprise. *** There was only grab and go stuff like croissants and muffins (chocolate muffins were like cake- super yummy), toast and bagels with a toaster and spreads (cute Nutella and peanut butter single serve packs), boiled eggs (so hard and possibly not fresh boiled), yogurt cups (low quality granola), fruit cups, oatmeal cups (nice GF brand), tea, coffee, & juice. The coffee was pretty good and available 24/7. The other disappointment was that I never experienced warm welcomes or smiles or conversational hospitable demeanors from anyone at the front desk:( I hope it was just an off weekend for them. I enjoyed exploring the beautiful little town and walking around some stunning near-by school campuses.

May 19, 2025 · Hannah BurnsWe used the Groton Inn for our wedding hotel room block, as well as for our welcome night reception. We are so happy we made those choices! We worked with Holly & Bethanie to coordinate our room block - they were very helpful in answering our questions and getting everything locked in for us. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful and comfortable the Inn is. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as well, it was a perfect space for getting ready for my big day. The suites are very spacious and clean! And the property is beautiful for family photos. As an event space, the Keep's Conservatory was perfect for our welcome night reception and our Event Manager Eleanor was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was on top of every detail and the event went perfectly. Our guests had a great time and it was a lovely way to kick off the wedding weekend!

Dec 21, 2024 · Anthony Patti IIIWe recently stayed for a For a wedding the inn is gorgeous service exceptional front staff unbelievably friendly restaurant was pricey, but the food was delicious I would have rated it a five star, but they need to improve on the mattresses in the guest rooms they were very soft and they did not have microwaves in the room . If you’re looking for a place to stay around the Groton area, the Inn is the place to stay? Enjoy.
Jan 21, 2025 · MIKE D'AVIGNONWe, along with our wedding party and many guests, enjoyed our stay at the Groton Inn during our wedding weekend. We felt taken care of, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were kind and attentive. The lobby and exterior are also gorgeous and made for some great photo backdrops. The lobby was especially wonderful for us to utilize with so many guests who wanted to spend time together outside of the wedding events, with its cozy lounge and fireplace. We also appreciated the clear and consistent communication regarding our room block for the wedding. If you find yourself in need of lodging in the Groton area, I highly recommend the Groton Inn!
