Thank you for taking care of us. I can wait to go to breakfast this morning. I will always use this hotel when I’m around here next time.
For those searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in Westford, Massachusetts, the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center presents a distinct option. Located at 219 Littleton Rd, Westford, MA 01886, and contactable at (978) 692-8200 or +1 978-692-8200, this establishment positions itself as a blend of traditional New England charm and comprehensive conference facilities. However, a balanced view of recent guest experiences reveals a mixed bag of strengths and areas that may require attention.
The Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center aims to evoke a sense of "old New England charm and traditional elegance." While some aspects of its design may be seen as nostalgic or "90s," the hotel generally strives to maintain a clean and neat appearance, as noted by some positive reviews. The property is designed to accommodate both leisure travelers and large-scale events, featuring extensive common areas, including lobbies and conference spaces. Guest rooms are air-conditioned and typically include a flat-screen TV, coffee machine, and mini-refrigerator. While some rooms may show signs of age with flickering TVs and loose outlets, other reports indicate clean and well-maintained rooms, suggesting a varied experience depending on the specific room allocated.
The atmosphere can shift significantly depending on whether a large event, such as a dance convention, is taking place. During such times, the hotel can be very lively, though some guests have reported concerns about the stability of floors in event areas. Overall, the hotel’s environment attempts to provide a grand, albeit dated, setting for a range of activities. Guests should be aware that while the hotel presents itself as a full-service establishment, some areas may reflect its age.
The Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center offers a wide array of services and amenities, catering to both individual travelers and large groups. A significant offering is the complimentary self-serve breakfast, available daily. While some guests praise its quality and variety, others mention that certain items, such as eggs, bacon, sausage, and French toast, may incur an extra charge, requiring clarification upon check-in. The hotel also features two on-site restaurants, the Story Brook Cafe for breakfast and Clark's Pub for dinner and drinks, along with a coffee shop/cafe. The staff is generally described as "super friendly" and helpful, with many positive mentions of their customer service.
For recreation and wellness, the hotel boasts a 15,000-square-foot health club. This extensive facility typically includes a gym with various equipment, saunas, and steam rooms. However, recent reviews indicate that the indoor pool has been closed for renovations for an extended period, which can be a disappointment for guests who booked with the expectation of using it. It is advisable to confirm the operational status of the pool and other facilities directly with the hotel prior to booking.
As a conference center, the hotel provides extensive meeting and event spaces, totaling 20,000 square feet, including grand ballrooms and an amphitheater. These facilities are equipped to host conferences, weddings, and other large gatherings. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas and guest rooms. However, some guests have noted issues with in-room amenities like the lack of a microwave in all rooms, requiring guests to use a single, shared microwave in the main lobby, which can lead to inconvenience and wait times.
Other services include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and complimentary parking for cars, buses, and RVs. The hotel is pet-friendly, though a fee usually applies, and pets must be crated when owners are not in the room. Housekeeping service, while generally expected, has been a point of concern for some long-term guests who reported infrequent room cleaning and a need to request basic supplies like toilet paper from the front desk.
The Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center's most distinguishing feature is its dual role as a hotel and a comprehensive conference center. Its expansive event spaces, including two grand ballrooms and the unique Concord Amphitheater, make it a significant venue for large gatherings in the region. The hotel's location, conveniently off I-495, provides easy access to surrounding areas and attractions like Nashoba Valley Ski Area and Kimball Farm. This accessibility, combined with ample parking, is a key draw for many visitors.
The strength of the staff is frequently highlighted as a major positive, with many guests praising their friendliness, helpfulness, and willingness to assist with inquiries, such as finding urgent care facilities. This human element often contributes significantly to a positive overall impression, even amidst other challenges.
The presence of a substantial health club with a variety of fitness options is another notable feature, although the closure of the pool for an extended duration has been a point of contention for some. The overall commitment to offering recreational facilities is evident, even if availability can fluctuate.
When considering the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, guests should weigh its value proposition carefully. The hotel often provides complimentary amenities like self-serve breakfast and free Wi-Fi, which add value to a stay. Its extensive conference facilities also make it a primary choice for event organizers, potentially offering bundled deals for accommodation and event space.
However, potential guests should be aware of some inconsistencies mentioned in recent reviews. The "90s" aesthetic, issues with older room amenities (like flickering TVs or outdated outlets), and the prolonged closure of the pool are factors to consider. While some guests find the hotel to be a "great hotel for a great price," others have felt that the value is diminished by the lack of maintenance in certain areas and the discrepancy in breakfast offerings (e.g., upcharges for hot items). It is advisable for prospective guests to directly confirm the current status of all amenities, especially the pool, and to inquire about any potential renovation schedules before booking.
Despite some dated elements and reported issues, the Westford Regency Inn and Conference Center continues to attract guests, particularly those attending events or seeking a convenient location with a range of services. Its long-standing presence and capacity for large gatherings remain key aspects of its offering in the Westford area.

Apr 14, 2025 · Mamoudou ToureThe 90s wants their hotel back. I thought was nostalgic that the room actually had physical keys then when I got in the room and I think they last up late was maybe 2005 based solely on the flat screen TV. The bathroom fan bearing was shot so sounded like a cricket. The TV had movie order button and no way to use a hdmi cable or apps to use your Netflix. Last time I saw movie order like that was the early 2000s. The screen was flickering and shaky so couldn’t even use it. All the outlets were so shot that if a fly buzzed by it the plug would fall on the floor. The pool was closed and when we booked over 3 months ago it was mentioned so I figured it needed work and it would been good when we arrived. Nope and when look at the building permit or fine from city wasn’t sure which all it was for is to replace the water banged dry wall. How does changing dry wall take months to complete. Using the elevator that smell like 50 year old grease and buttons all broken felt like a shaved few years off my life using it. When I put my hand to stop it and kept going and when it would stop at your floor it would free fall a few inches while the door was opening. Maybe because our event but they gave us breakfast card and they were only for basic stuff forgot the names of breakfasts but the eggs, bacon, sausage and French toast was a 7 dollar up charge. Figuring they put no money into anything they could let you eat the full breakfast without being cheap but no. We had a dance convention and when everyone was dancing the floors would felt so I felt by the end of the event we would have crashed down to the first floor. On the third floor which is the convention center section floor you can see all the water damage from the sky light and the chandelier holding on for it life not to come crashing down by state of all The water damage around it. We where there for 3 nights and 4 days for the event and not once did cleaning service come to our room we had go to front for one roll of toilet paper at a time because nothing was stocked in the room and they have a set to leave a tip envelope on the table. I should have left them a bill! I forgot to add but this makes perfect sense not on Sunday which they advertised a brunch they used plastic utensils but on the weekdays we had metal and cloth napkins how does that make any sense should save your good stuff for weekend and use the plastic on the weekdays low foot traffic, but I am not a hotel owner so maybe I am wrong. This by far wasn’t a gross hotel but the worst hotel in service and even amenities I been to. Oh oh I forgot the best park none of room I at least think don’t have a microwave so you have go to main lobby to use it. To think with 4 floors of rooms they have a fleet of microwaves for all the guests to reheat their food. NOPE lol! They have one microwave on its last leg and you have wait in line for it. When I stopped at local Walmart they had them for 50 a piece maybe I should bought 5 of them and asked for collection from all the rooms. So we could reheat our leftovers efficiently. So in the end I hope the 90s comes to collect this dump and brings this falling apart fossil into at least the 2010s maybe in 2050 we can get a 2025 room experience.
Apr 27, 2025 · M-M B (ShadowPhox)We were there from a Thursday thru Sunday. There was no maid service (we didn't mind that) but was glad we took our own bath mat as the tub was slippery.. There was a 'grab & go' breakfast, but if you wanted eggs, bacon, etc, was $7 more each person each day. Not a quiet place to stay - there busy interstate is very close by.
Apr 27, 2025 · Cindy FairfieldThe staff carries this place. The conference room and amenities are quite good, although the rooms are very dated and in dire need of updating. Between the brass keys, lava looking lamps and tired carpet, this facility shows its age. As noted previously though, the staff was extremely helpful and cheery which made the facility welcoming.
Feb 14, 2025 · Jake ArborioWe attended a Square dance convention recently and we didn’t spend alot not stay at the hotel but we did eat lunch from their ala cart section. Everything was very good! All of the staff were very friendly!
