Beautiful hotel with views of the fountain in central Philadelphia. I reserved a stay here for to celebrate my birthday. Modern lounge and restaurant adjacent to the lobby rear of reception. I had may a few requests for my room as I had a long day of travel and sightseeing and wanted to just have room service and unwind however front desk overlooked those notes and after I mentioned it they said they would correct it and have it sent to my room as soon as I was settled. The reservation specialist upgraded me to a beautiful fountain view room however housekeeping had not did a good job cleaning it. There was sugar all over the coffee bar and urine and a sticky substance all over the bathroom floor. I asked if they could get someone up to clean it and they offered me another room. Many of the rooms had not been cleaning well. I eventually settled on a courtyard room. Room service forgot utensils and my specified requests (champagne glasses) and had to make multiple trips to bring my entire order. My bell hop was amazing, the gym and facilities were great. I just hope they get the housekeeping services tightening up.

The hotel's design often incorporates local art and themes, aligning with its Curio Collection branding and its artistic neighborhood. It strives to create an atmosphere of urban sophistication. The presence of an indoor pool and a well-equipped fitness center also adds to the attractive environment for guests seeking relaxation and wellness.
The services at The Logan Philadelphia, from a staffing perspective, appear to be a strong point, despite the issues reported with the 'product' itself. Guests consistently praise the professionalism and helpfulness of the front desk and bellhop staff. As one reviewer noted, "My bell hop was amazing." Another highlighted the "amazing customer service rep" who was "friendly, professional, accommodating, and made me feel important." Even in situations where guests faced severe problems, the staff, such as "Ester" and the head of housekeeping, were described as accommodating and willing to offer alternative solutions, including moving guests to different rooms multiple times. Room service is available, though one review indicates occasional lapses in fulfilling specific requests (e.g., forgetting utensils or champagne glasses). Promotional information for The Logan Philadelphia would undoubtedly highlight its enviable location on Logan Square, emphasizing its proximity to Philadelphia's cultural treasures. Marketing would likely showcase the hotel's "beautiful" aesthetics, "modern lounge and restaurant," and the "spectacular views" from its rooms and rooftop bar. The "Curio Collection by Hilton" affiliation itself suggests a higher-end experience, appealing to discerning travelers looking for a unique stay rather than a generic hotel. Promotional materials would also feature its excellent on-site dining, spa services, and well-equipped fitness facilities. The hotel could target both leisure travelers (families, couples, art enthusiasts) and business travelers, perhaps offering packages that combine stays with museum tickets or event access. The positive feedback on staff service would also be a key element in their promotional efforts, emphasizing the attentive and accommodating nature of their team. They likely offer Hilton Honors loyalty program benefits, attracting repeat customers.
However, an objective introduction necessitates addressing the significant concerns raised by recent customer reviews, which repeatedly focus on a critical area: housekeeping and room cleanliness. Multiple guests reported severe cleanliness issues, including "urine and a sticky substance all over the bathroom floor," "sugar all over the coffee bar," "pee on the seat and hair on the ceiling," "hair on the sink counter, hair in the shower," "short hairs all over the toilet," and "unclean and torn sheets." One reviewer even reported finding "hair on pillows" and a "used hair tie near the bed" in a third room after multiple attempts to resolve cleanliness issues. The head of housekeeping's alleged statement that "all the hotels in the area used the same cleaning service" and that "the sheets do come back stained & the like for all of them" is highly concerning and, if accurate, points to a systemic problem affecting guest comfort and satisfaction. While the staff's willingness to move guests to different rooms in response to these issues demonstrates accommodation, the recurring nature of the problem, leading some guests to state they "will not be returning" and advising others to "do not stay here," is a major drawback. Despite the hotel's beautiful environment, excellent location, and otherwise commendable staff service, the consistent reports of unclean rooms severely impact the overall guest experience. Potential guests searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in Philadelphia must weigh these cleanliness concerns against the hotel's other positive attributes.

Apr 27, 2025 · Lovead WWhile the team at the Curio was great- I will not be returning to their hotel. Go to an IHG or Mariott. TLDR: do not stay here. The rooms are unclean. Yesterday, when I arrived in my first of three room, the bathroom was not up to my cleanliness standards - there was pee on the seat and hair on the ceiling (how does hair get there?), hair on the sink counter, hair in the shower. The staff (Ester) happily moved me to a second “clean room” within 5 mins. I thought I was safe. In that second room, the bathroom was filthy with short hairs all over the toilet and unclean and torn sheets. The head of housekeeping came ready to clean up the bathroom. I asked her if this was normal - for toilets to have pee and bathrooms to have hair everywhere, torn stained sheets? Maybe this is the new normal! While nice, she proudly told me multiple times that I was free to leave this property and go to another hotel, but that all the hotels in the area used the same cleaning service. (I also called Kimpton to see if they had rooms just in case. And I should have left.) And since they all use the same service the sheets do come back stained & the like for all of them. She essentially was telling me you can stay here in filth or go somewhere else that will also be unclean. What?! She offered me another room. A third ROOM. I asked her if she could go to the room and check if it was actually clean before I did with her own eyes. She agreed. She returned after some time with keys to my third room. When I got to the room I again saw an issue with the bed. The pillows had hair on them. There also was a used hair tie near the bed. I was uncomfortable the entire evening. I will not be returning. The service team was accommodating. The product was completely sub par and disgusting. Hilton should be ashamed.
Mar 26, 2025 · nafula katoOverall, this is a great hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel room and bed are very comfortable, and the facilities are well-maintained. This is a great hotel for a weekend getaway in Philly! We also enjoyed the bar and ambiance in the lobby. In terms of nit-picky critiques, the rooms could use Smart TV's and there is some noise in the rooms from the hallway (a noise machine would easily solve this issue). I would definitely stay here again.
Mar 23, 2025 · Simona SI switched to this hotel for one night. I wish I didn’t. The drain for the shower kept sliding closed, so I put something there to hold it open. There was no shampoo/ conditioner and it took 3 phone calls before someone brought it. There was no towel for stepping out of the shower- not a big deal but the other hotels have it. The restaurant was yummy, good service. But pricey. The front staff was nice in person but didn’t answer the phone the first time we called for shampoo. We barely got by our one night stay, the toilet paper ran out and there was no backup. We used the lobby bathroom before we left and drove home. I can see why this hotel has such high and low reviews.
Apr 04, 2025 · April KishGreat location among the museums and cool decor for a dark modern vibe. We had a beautiful view of the fountain. We got a king suite with a pull out bed sofa, a room for up to 4 people. However, the sofa mattress is a thin wired mattress that is NOT comfortable at all. We had to request sheets, a blanket, and 2 pillows for that sofa mattress - to which we were informed there was a shortage of available pillows and had to wait to get them both. Also we wanted a tub for our youngest but were given a shower. There is no table to eat at in the room. Just a desk and single chair. The TVs have regular channels but no smart options for streaming apps. The main king bed was comfortable and coffee maker was a Keurig. There is a mini fridge but no microwave. Hotel pool is underground with spa. It got crowded fast with children and was very murky. Towels are provided in the area and there are about 15 seats around the pool. Finally, the urban farmer restaurant has a fun vibe and good food but it's overpriced and all the employees looked super unhappy. Service was lacking - no one checked in on us and we had to request the check. We were disappointed with our stay and will try other options next time we stay in philadelphia.
