Charming hotel and nice atmosphere. Front desk staff were friendly at both check-in and check-out. At check-in there was an additional $$ hold placed on the card for a security deposit and should release after check-out and room inspection. Hotel offers valet parking and there is a private lot across the street from the hotel. The weekend daily rate for the private lot is about $10-15 higher than the hotel valet daily rate (approx. $51-58 depending on car size). At reservation, I booked a King Bed w/ windows (hotel also has interior rooms w/o windows) and requested a higher level floor away from elevators. Stayed in room 205. It was perfect size for 2, clean, fresh, bathroom was decent (everything worked and water pressure was good), bed and pillows were comfy, and room windows faced Magazine St. Radio in room doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. Didn’t experience any outside noise or hallway noise and the elevators were quick. Hotel is in walking distance to almost everything Downtown! The Ruby Slipper is next door and offers breakfast and brunch options (food was great!). The hotel offers priority seating for Ruby Slipper. Overall great experience!!

Jun 09, 2025 · Niki ALoved our stay here! They were so awesome at accommodating and the staff was very friendly. The area was also very safe! thank you to valet for taking great care of our vehicle. I 100% recommend the Pelham!
Jun 09, 2025 · Rainey DenisonOnline checkout was a little difficult to figure out, however once I got it paid,ni was relieved. Navigation to the building was easy enough. You can't just walk in, the door is locked and you have to use the intercom inorder to be let in and check-in. After that you use your time key which is quite nice. The room is a decent size. Little table and sitting chair 🪑 quite comfortable. Full size bathtub 🛁, very nice and updated. little coffee ☕ station with an enclosed refrigerator underneath in the cabinet. Drank all the ☕ coffee, creamer and Suger. Asked for more at the front desk and they were very kind and supplied some.
Apr 08, 2025 · Patrick RamosThis is a cute little boutique hotel that was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated and modern. We would definitely stay here again when in New Orleans.
Jun 13, 2025 · Amy McDurhamI was truly looking forward to staying here for the building's character and room design. In the end, I was disappointed after staying in two different rooms. The rooms are pleasing to the eye and have unique layouts within the historic building. The first room was chilly and the heater didn't work, and the second room was on the ground level where I could plainly hear people and vehicles on the street though the night. I had trouble getting the heat problem fixed in the first room, even after mentioning it to the front desk the first morning. I found out later that a work order had not been created, so I was going to be cold the next night. Fortunately, the lady at the front desk in the evening understood my problem and went above and beyond to help me change my room. She was the most helpful person there. Lastly, I wonder what the "amenity fee" is for, as there are no amenities. No breakfast provided, no business center, no fitness center, and wifi with a low bandwidth. The hotel is well-located within one block to Canal Street and a few blocks to the riverfront. Those who love a hearty breakfast can enjoy the Ruby Slipper in the same building.
