I stayed here for a work conference last week and was very impressed overall by the layout of the resort. The staff were all very friendly and easy to work with. The views are pretty incredible (mountains, pools, golf course, cactus’, etc.). They have a restaurant located in the hotel on the first floor (near the pools). They also have a lobby bar that had great service but is extremely pricey. There are several convenience/retail stores as well as a coffee shop. The room was very spacious and had a massive patio. The bathroom was beautiful and had a shower and a separate large tub. The elevators can be a bit confusing as there are no buttons once you are inside, but you’ll figure it out after a day or two. Room service came twice a day (which was a first for me at any hotel). The gym—absolutely beautiful and has everything you need! I almost never use gyms at hotels but am sure glad I checked it out. They also have tennis courts and a basketball court. On the last night I noticed a bed bug in one of the beds in my room (see last video in my review)…that put a damper in my experience. I mentioned it upon checking out (not as a complaint but a warning that they should clean the room extra well). I’m hoping to get a refund for that last night but haven’t heard back from management. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience here! Between the pools, the views, and the staff, it was a wonderful week. But…be on the lookout for bed bugs.

The location is beautiful. Rooms can range from beautiful view to an underground basement feel. It depends on which one you get! We were lucky to get a beautiful view and good size room. The mini fridge was dirty and housekeeping barely did anything but make the bed each day. Pools were nice and spa treatment was good. Overall a good hotel. I see this more as a family hotel than luxury.

Absolutely amazing experience here! Stayed in the casita and loved the large balcony. Next time I will request floor level though with the fire pit that would have been cooler. The pools were big and our son loved the slide he probably went down 100 times. The food at the pool was delicious and the staff was so kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this resort!

The Phoenician gets 10s across the board from me. I’m a former Marriott employee who wanted to celebrate my birthday early & their property, service & location is unmatched. The views & rooms are gorgeous, the staff is friendly - especially Mr. Douglas Fisch who helped clarify any questions or concerns of mine and assigned me the beautiful 6th floor room - and the activities are so fun! (I came Memorial Day weekend which turned out to be very eventful.) I ate at Mowry & Cotton, Thirsty Camel & Kalio Kabbobery and the restaurants are consistent! The food is downright tasty. I didn’t have one bad meal, whether dining in or in-room dining. I can literally go on & on about how great things went - you’d be reading all day. But the bottom line is: I can’t wait to come back!
