Overall, the hotel is very nice and it was a perfect location to the convention center and a lot of local restaurants. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and well laid out, and the room and hotel had good little extras. There were a few things that could use some updating/fixing like the in-room closet doors. They were older and out of date, but worse, they were both off track. Once I managed to open one side, it was fine inside, but I kept it open so I didn't have to fight with it. The carpet felt older, and with many hotels leaning toward hardwood or hard surface flooring, they may want to consider that soon. The one thing I truly didn't like was the elevator system. It was the type where you put your floor into a panel, and it tells you which elevator to go into. These can be frustrating compared to the traditional system plus, unlike most modern hotels where you need your room key as a layer of security, these elevators didn't require them. In a city with people coming and going, that bothered me. Most of my team stayed here, and we were very happy about the area and how close we were to so many nice boutique restaurants as well as recognizable chains. Getting in and out via a car was very easy and the self parking wasn't too expensive. If you're attending a conference in Pittsburgh, this a good hotel to choose for comfort and location.

This hotel was awesome! It exceeded my expectations. Quiet at night, no outside noise! spa like bathroom!! Comfortable beds like heaven. clean as a whistle, I came for the marathon and thanks to the Westin it was a great experience, no negatives, a lovely starbucks coffee bar upon finishing the race too. I used the self parking in the basement and it was super convenient. Hotel Connects to the convention center. The elevators were super fast too i never had to wait long for any of them, if you want to be at the start line and have a great race experience this is the place. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The hotel is located conveniently and is near to all the nice and cozy restaurants. Loved the ambience in the hotel and how accommodating it was. The walkways are nice and close to the river. Me and my family had fun. Just to mention the rooms were clean and well maintained.

All of the staff I've talked to have been helpful. However, the room was not completely clean: visible bits of refuse in the shower, various pieces of paper and fuzz on the carpet that could have been vacuumed, used plastic cup and aluminum can in the room on the window sill and nightstand. Overall a nice room, reasonably modern hotel.

It's clean and comfortable. The staff are gracious and helpful, and allowed me to check in several hours early without much hassle. The hotel is tall, so the view over the city is nice. Parking in the area is limited, but the underground lot under the hotel is very accessible.
