My family and I recently stayed at Timbers lodge the first week of June 2025. I read reviews after my trip was booked and was a little scared to stay. However, we had the best stay. Friendly staff, pool availability, amenities, and breakfast. It's not a full hot breakfast like you get from large hotels but it's still breakfast. Behind Timbers lodge is a wonderful walking path that takes you to the Island where the big ferris wheel is. We did not hear the traffic or any noise from other rooms except when someone dropped something above us. I had 2 issues. Trouble getting the TV to work, but did get something on to watch. My key cards didn't work the night before we were checking out. The front desk took care of it with no issues. The price was reasonable and yes the rooms are dated but you can tell they are working on updates. I hope you all find your stay as wonderful as I did.

Jun 09, 2025 · Larinda BeckerOur experience with this hotel is one for the books. A stay they say you get what you pay for but this is definitely not that. You don’t get anything you pay for accept a Bed to sleep in and a hot shower. It started off in the lobby. When we got here at 330 the lady didn’t look us up and just said check in is not until 4 so you will have to come back. We will give you a call when your room is ready. At 430 there was still no call so we decided to swing back in and check. There was then another member at the desk. She must have gone home at 4:00. This employee said maybe 20 words to us total. None of which was what room we were in, check out time or what time they serve breakfast. No problem we are normally out by 7 in the morning anyways. Because of our long drive in we unpacked, went to dinner and came back to sleep. There are no usb plugs. Only one outlet worked on the wall with the beds so we had to unplug the light to charge our phones. There was a reused envelope on the dresser for tops for the housekeeping but there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom only lotion and the room smelt like a fart. It was very loud all night long with the traffic and night life. I got up and got a shower while my husband is trying to sleep. It is 730 so I decided to go downstairs to check on breakfast and check out time and the lobby is locked until 8 and there is no one in there so I guess breakfast maybe at 8. So I turned around and came back to the room where my key would not work after multiple attempts and minutes I had to knock and wake my husband up to open the door.
Mar 24, 2025 · Living Life One Day at a timeThe plus sized older Hispanic woman was extremely rude and kept knocking on our door standing outside of it only being 15 mins passed checkout time while on the phone with booking.com to extend our stay. I did get it extended but we ended up just leaving the property due to housekeeping rudeness. Love the location and place wasn’t that bad! Hope to have a better experience next time!
Apr 28, 2025 · Julia KaoleloponoWe went to check in and the young guy was very unpleasant. He gave us a ground floor room as requested because of our age and resent surgery on my husbands knee and my hip trouble. But soon as we found the room and went to open the door to go get our things. The door handle came off in my hand!!! PLUS. Neither of us smoke and just outside our room was a sitting area that smelled just like cigarettes!! We went to talk with the desk clerk but he wasn’t in the office. We waited around (with 2 other customers)and finally the guy came back. I proceeded to tell him the issues we had. He never said I’m sorry or anything just gave us another room. BUT I had told him it had to be with NO stairs. Well we had to hunt for the room and it was UPSTAIRS!!! No need to say any more to him we felt it wouldn’t do any good. People sat around even after we got in the other room smoking like a smoke stack And signs just above their heads that read. NO SMOKING. No one did anything about it. SMH. The toilet rocked like you were riding some type of ride and every time you went to reach for tissue paper the holder fell off the wall!!! My husband walked across the floor to the shower and his feet turner black!! He left black foot prints in the tub while showering. The floor was filthy you could see all the marks and trash on it. When you sat or laid on the beds they squeaked something terrible like rusted springs. Not to mention you could hear your neighbors movements. Also these 2 little dogs next door barking the whole time. This might also be a good area for people with children because of the amusement rides across the street But it is NOT a quiet place at ALL. I do NOT recommend this motel at all and it’s my first and last time here
