They're near to no, no electrical outlets. There is one behind the nightstand between the two beds that has a lamp plugged into it that left the top one available. I don't know if it was not working the night before but sometime during the night it quit working and my cell phone died which was my alarm clock. I really have to pay more attention to whether or not a room has a refrigerator and microwave listed as amenities. I'm so accustomed to that being included. Both the lady that checked me in in the evening and the gentleman that I checked out with this morning were extremely friendly. Very clean. Very quiet. I love that you get a breakfast voucher even though I did not have time to use it.

The Travelodge by Wyndham Hubbard OH is strategically positioned on North Main Street in Hubbard, making it easily accessible for travelers. Its location is described as being "near the airport" and "off I-80 (~0.2mi)," indicating excellent connectivity for those traveling by road or air. Specific distances mentioned include being within a 5-minute drive of Blue Beacon - Hubbard and Tylee Park, and approximately 1.3 miles (2.2 km) from Jones Playground. The hotel's proximity to various local parks like Waugh Field, Hubbard Public Library, Harding Park, and Deer Creek Golf Course suggests opportunities for outdoor activities or relaxation. While some guests note the plumbing can be loud when other rooms use water, the overall environment is consistently described as "very quiet" by visitors, contributing to a peaceful stay. The hotel was built in 1970 and last renovated in 2012, which gives an idea of its general aesthetic and upkeep level.
The Travelodge by Wyndham Hubbard OH aims to provide a solid set of essential services. A key offering is the complimentary continental breakfast, which is typically served daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Uniquely, this breakfast often consists of a "breakfast voucher for the restaurant next door" (The Globe), which specializes in American cuisine and is open 24 hours. While one guest noted that this voucher "only offered 3 options" and they "ended up getting a bagel at the Dunkin Donuts outside the hotel," another review highlighted that the free breakfast offered "generous portions with a full menu at the neighboring restaurant," indicating a potentially varied experience or interpretation of the offering. The Globe restaurant also serves lunch, dinner, and brunch, offering convenient on-site dining.
The hotel is particularly praised for its staff. Reviewers consistently mention the "extremely friendly" front desk personnel, with one guest stating they were "greeted by name" upon a late arrival and another noting the "gentleman at the front desk quickly checked us in." This personalized and efficient service significantly enhances the guest experience. Standard room amenities include 42-inch HDTVs with digital channels, free WiFi, coffee/tea makers, and private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations and free toiletries. While some guests expressed a wish for in-room refrigerators and microwaves, it's important for guests to confirm specific room features when booking, as these may not be standard in all rooms. Other practical services include a 24-hour front desk, laundry facilities, a computer station, and free self-parking (including RV/bus/truck parking). The hotel is pet-friendly, welcoming service animals and potentially other pets (policies may vary, so direct confirmation is advised, although some third-party sites indicate pets are not allowed, while others indicate service animals are welcome), a significant convenience for travelers with animals. There's also an arcade/game room for entertainment, a terrace, and a snack bar/deli.
The core features of the Travelodge by Wyndham Hubbard OH revolve around providing a clean, quiet, and good-value stay. Guests repeatedly highlight the cleanliness of the rooms, with comments like "Very clean" and "The room was surprisingly big and was clean." The "modern" appearance of the rooms and "immaculate linens" also contribute positively to the guest experience. Despite its age (built in 1970), the 2012 renovation likely updated many of its 31 guestrooms, contributing to the modern feel described by some. The presence of an on-site restaurant (The Globe) open 24 hours is a convenient feature, offering flexibility for dining regardless of arrival time. The availability of free WiFi, free parking, and a complimentary breakfast (even if via voucher) are essential features that add value, particularly for budget-conscious travelers. The hotel offers connecting/adjoining rooms, which can be useful for families or groups traveling together.
However, an objective review must also acknowledge areas for improvement. One guest noted a "lack of electrical outlets" and that one outlet "quit working," which can be inconvenient in an age of multiple devices. Another review mentioned that "the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the water temp fluctuated from comfortable to very hot," along with "loud plumbing" when other rooms used water. While the beds were "comfortable enough for an $80 per night stay," these details indicate areas where the older infrastructure of the hotel might present minor challenges to guest comfort.
The Travelodge by Wyndham Hubbard OH primarily promotes itself as an affordable and convenient option, especially for those searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Hubbard area. Its value proposition is clear: "you get a breakfast voucher," rooms are "very clean," and the environment is "very quiet." The friendly staff and pet-friendly policy are also strong points that enhance its appeal. Being part of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts family, guests can also benefit from the Wyndham Rewards program, which offers points for stays that can be redeemed for free nights and other perks. Wyndham Rewards members often receive special rates, such as 10-20% savings on eligible stays, as part of promotional offers like "Summer Sale" or "Earth Day Sale."
For specific rates, availability, and to confirm any special offers, potential guests are encouraged to contact the hotel directly at (330) 534-8191 or +1 330-534-8191, or to check the official Wyndham Hotels & Resorts website. While the hotel offers a good value, guests should be aware of the potential for limited electrical outlets and variable water pressure/plumbing noise. Despite these minor issues, the overall sentiment from guests is largely positive, with many stating they "would definitely stay here again," highlighting its strong standing as a reliable and economical choice in Hubbard.

Apr 19, 2025 · Michele Wright-HarrisWe stayed here while traveling from NE PA to Indiana. We arrived at 2am and were greeted by name and by a cute little dog behind the counter. We were given a room on the second floor as we requested when we had called ahead to inform them of our late arrival. The room was surprisingly big and was clean. The bed was comfortable enough for an $80 per night stay. I gave 4 stars because the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the water temp fluctuated from comfortable to very hot while I was showering. The plumbing was also very loud so when other rooms used water it was very noticeable. The free breakfast consisted of a voucher for the restaurant next door and only offered 3 options so we ended up getting a bagel at the Dunkin Donuts outside the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
Mar 28, 2025 · Amy DanielowskiGood for the price, perfect for a last minute pitstop. Clean enough. Bathroom has slight mold in the shower but nothing crazy. No bed bugs. But make sure to wear socks around the room as the carpet feels like it hasn't been cleaned in over 50 years. Had a sticky feel to it and made my feet itch.
Mar 30, 2025 · robyn rylanaThis hotel is amazing! For truckers and pilots this is a great place to get inside for the night. Every time I visit the staff is so friendly. The rooms are clean enough for me, which says a lot. It's a hotel for under $100 in 2025! I actually take a bath at this place. Albeit after a quick wipe down. Most hotels would not see a bath out of me.
Feb 21, 2025 · MacNic WarI needed an emergency stop for a couple of nights on my solo road trip. I called and John was really understanding and was luckily able to get me a room. The room was comfortable and clean and great for the price! The little things were nice too like the coffee and toiletries. The WiFi held up to a few of my devices at the same time. The desk will give 1 ticket per night for a free breakfast at The Globe Restaurant right next door. Overall, a clutch spot that turned a little nightmare into a couple of days of R&R. A little oasis admist for the road-weary traveler or camper.
