Stayed here to avoid being totally ripped off by the violently overpriced Treasure Island Resort & Casino, but then mostly regretted our decision. Not that we'll be paying $300 per night to stay there next time around. We'll just be looking elsewhere for other alternatives. Not the best first impression when we checked in. Not a nice room, either. The sad thing is, I think the owner placed us in one of their nicer rooms, too. I don't want to be unfair or unnecessarily nasty. It's not like it was crawling with bugs, or anything like that. We just didn't want to spend any longer than necessary there. We both decided against showering. I barely even wanted to use their toilet. And no way were either of us brave enough to remotely consider breakfast. This served a purpose by being cheaper than our alternatives, but then we checked in and it immediately felt expensive, as we've stayed in way nicer places for way less. And we won't be returning. Outdated and in desperate need of an overhaul. At least it felt safe enough. Though we didn't take any chances. And to be perfectly honest, I didn't look too hard for anything nastier than we unavoidably encountered, as I didn't want to find anything that would keep me awake the whole night. There were no gunshots or uncomfortable interactions with other guests. And we weren't surprised to wake up the next morning to find we had survived the night. It wasn't any kind of hellish experience at all. There were just no redeeming features to be grateful for. I'm sure these folks are trying harder than it seems, so I'm not giving them a one star horror show review. They don't deserve that. Though I would honestly prefer to sleep in my car.

Nov 05, 2024 · Lee StanfordIt’s not too far from the downtown, but you MUST have a car. However, the rooms were absolutely disgusting. The shower did not appear to be clean, the towels were stained and I saw a hair on one of them. The room smelled musty and the fan/ac only made it worse. Everything was dingy and didn’t look like anything had been upgraded in decades, which would be okay if they weren’t also dirty. I checked for bedbugs at night and didn’t see anything, but I found bug bites the next day so I’m not positive but I would DEFINITELY be cautious.
Nov 02, 2024 · Leah DixThe room was dirty and smelly. The bed linen and blankets, lamp shades were stained. The carpet wasn't vacuumed. It was stained. The bathroom mirror had some nasty, cloudy, smear marks all over it like it was snot or body fluids. Definitely not cleaned. The door lock on the room door was busted. I didn't feel safe. I bought cleaning supplies to wipe down the room surfaces. Hide a bed sofa had dirty linens and food all over when we opened it to set it up. There were no secured doors to keep people out of hallways. Anyone could get to where the rooms were. Doors were left ajar. Don't stay there if you don't have to. It was a very unnerving sleepless night. Left early morn. We were concerned for my families safety. Very big language barrier. We won't ever stay there again.
Aug 10, 2024 · Lori ZDo NOT stay here! The pictures are deceiving. Room was filthy, bathroom was filthy, sheets, pillows, walls, and chairs stained with God knows what. The carpet was so dirty it turned our feet black. Not that I would have dared use them, but the pool and hot tub are empty. Please, sleep in your car before you stay here.
Dec 05, 2024 · Hannah Weinreich-NelsonI’ll always remember this hotel I stayed in. Got to my room and very similar to the other reviews. Smells bad, things all over the walls, carpet and sheets. The worst part was when I went to use the bathroom and opened the toilet seat, there was a mouse in the toilet. I gathered my things and went to a different hotel. They seemed understanding and gave me a refund. I was hoping they’d be improved since then but it seems like they weren’t. Would not recommend this hotel
