Tried to remove half a star for reasons, but it wouldn't let me. Casino. So nice to be in a casino not filled with smoke. Most places have a tiny non-smoking section separated by failing magic. This place puts all the smoke in a container room. Not a wide variety of games, but enough slots and table games to loose all your money at. Staff was friendly. The concert venue outside was great. Nothing special, but no complaints. There is an awesome kid drop area with right security that let us leave our little ones to play for an hour or two. When we got back they were upset they had to leave! $15 an hour was worth it. The food is overpriced, of course, but generally good. The cheeseburgers in the bowling alley beat the other area, but we're a bit more expensive. The pool area is mostly great. Two bigger water slides, a basketball area, a lazy river, and a little area for kids. A swim up bar for grown ups as well. Only complaint was none of the hot tubs allowed kids in them. (We snuck in one anyhow though). The entire area has a beautiful terrace view as well. No complaints with the room. Perfectly fine. It's about 25 extra minutes to get here then our local casino, but we'll worth it!

Guests often highlight the staff's friendliness and the overall welcoming atmosphere, which contributes to a positive and memorable visit.

A particularly noteworthy feature, as mentioned by a guest, is the smoke-free environment. Treasure Island has been praised for its approach to managing smoking, keeping it contained to a specific room, which makes the main casino and other public areas a much more pleasant experience for everyone. This attention to guest comfort, combined with its wide array of attractions, positions Treasure Island as a top choice for Minnesotans who want a fun and convenient resort experience without having to travel far.

Writing this to say, this isn't the first time this has happened. I read all of the reviews saying this was the worst concert venue because parking was horrible. I go to the concert and guess what? It was horrible! We arrived early for the concert, and traffic was well-managed. We left about half an hour after the concert was done and we stayed stuck in the "parking lot" (it's a grass field) for over an hour. As did 100 cars around us. But it gets worse. We had... a tornado warning... saying severe weather was approaching and to take shelter. A TORNADO. The sky was lit up, light flashing everywhere, and we couldn't even move. Traffic did not move AT ALL for an entire HOUR. This is horribly irresponsible, and not the first time this has happened, like I said! It happens every concert! And this time, we could have been hit by a tornado! So, yeah, it's only a matter of time before someone has to get hurt before anything is going to change. Maybe they should get on that before they're in the news for something that easily could have been avoided. It's not like they were under staffed, plenty of people were directing traffic, but we, along with hundreds of cars, did not move for an hour. In 80 degree heat.

Well, you lose more than what you came in with. Sometimes you can play for a few hours. 5-9 with a choice of machines. After 9 pm, packed and buzzing on slots and tables. Bands plays on the weekends. It's a fun casino. It's not fun to lose. Hotel rooms are nice and connected to the conference area. Also, great steaks. Good snack bar. Free soda. A friendly drink server.

We stayed in a newly renovated room in the Wolf tower. Pretty nice except it smelled a little like a wet dog and then just before leaving noticed the floor was damp near the coffee … guessing a former guest(s)must have spilled something. I forgot to mention it when we left. Beautiful sunsets on that side!

Pretty standard casino. There is a smoking room behind sliding doors on the casino floor with games inside vs Mystic which is now a separate room off the floor. Its a standard casino. Looked clean. No bad smells. GREAT security they are very watchful and respectful. All the staff are wonderful. :)
