Really good spot if you’re visiting DC on a budget. The location is great — close to restaurants, public transit, and not too far from the main sights. The hotel itself is older but has some charm, and the price is reasonable compared to other places in the area. Just a heads-up: they don’t serve breakfast or any meals, so you’ll want to plan to eat out. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and worked well for what I needed.

May 06, 2025 · Peter"Despite its 'outdated' appearance, The Windsor Inn has a unique vintage charm. We enjoyed the kind staff and the comfortable, bouncy beds. Watching Despicable Me 3 on the TV in our twin-bed room made for a warm and cozy family stay." Safe neighborhood. No elevators, so.. STAIRS. Can be a bit pricey for 4 people. No parking... If not resident there, either have to wake up at 7 or find a parking garage. Water pressure can be strong, but it has a good water temperature (can quickly get REALLY hot if not careful). Good, clean, beds and bathroom.
Dec 29, 2024 · Li YaSpent the last few nights of my DC stay here and it was the perfect place to be! They put me in a small back room which was quiet and clean. Totally enjoyed the ambiance and friendly staff.
May 20, 2025 · H FConvenient location, 30 mins' walk to the White House, 10 mins to the nearest metro station on U Street, close to a number of coffee shops and restaurants. The lobby and hallways are reasonably clean, but the room is shabby, poorly equipped and needs serious renovations. For example, the hook on the bathroom door is completely broken and there is no place where you can hang your clothes and towels. There is also no shelf in the shower where you can put your soap and shampoo, so you have to put everything on the floor. The towels and bedding are not as clean as they appear; found hair in the towels and previous guests' pubic hair on the bed sheet. The A/C is super loud and constantly turns on and off while you are sleeping. Next time I will check other hotels, surely not this one.
Mar 15, 2025 · HOVThe staff is friendly, professional and made me feel super welcome. The photos speak for themselves. A little renovation will go a long way. The room I will say was clean.
