Fantastic experience staying here, I was treated like royalty - staff went above and beyond to make my Son and I comfortable. They have a great selection for breakfast 6:30-9:30 and there is coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day as well as filtered water. The room is clean and comfortable, there is Paul Mitchell shampoo & conditioner in addition to chamomile bar soap. Although this is a higher end hotel the price was fantastic and was very low even for the location. I definitely recommend staying here

Feb 20, 2023 · Angela SIt was okay because the room, as well as the lobby, was clean, with modern furnishings. Otherwise it would get a 1. The Queen room was too small for two people. The location is absolutely horrific. Neighborhood is very sketchy. People hanging out in front of hotel and across the street, playing loud music. My husband was hesitant to check in. When asked if the area was safe, the front desk clerk informed us that there were a lot of homeless people in the area. (She was very courteous and helpful.) The parking was a joke. Maybe 6 good spaces for a hotel with at least 50 rooms. No shuttle service as advertised (although there were two shuttle buses parked in the lot, taking up much needed space for guests). We checked in on a Thursday. The only time I saw a few breakfast items was when we checked out on Sunday morning.
Jun 27, 2022 · Debra GastonIf I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. And I didn’t even get to check in… The counter staff was very rude. She told us we couldn’t check in because the hotel was turning into a shelter. We asked for proof so we could get a refund and she said there is no proof but our booking site would know. They wouldn’t let us check in. The staff was all wearing pajamas. The front desk girl was clearly on drugs and while we were looking for other accommodations we witnessed her and another staff member using drugs. We were told by the front desk girl, “This is Far Rockaway, not Beverly Hills.” when we asked if they were okay because we also saw her arm band and needle kit tucked away on the desk. It was a disgrace. Now after all of that, the hotel is refusing to refund my booking site the money. It is a mess and I will never stay at ANY Wyndham hotel again. I had been to a few Wyndham’s that were nice, but nope, NEVER again. The worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Do not stay here. Stay in the airport before you stay here. Its not worth it.
Feb 08, 2023 · Sarah CopplaI arrived at the hotel around 2pm. Most hotel would accompany guest to check in a little early but this one makes you wait until 3pm - which is fine if the room was clean. We got to our room just to put down our luggages and went back out and didn’t have a chance to check the room. So when we came back later around midnight, ready to rest, we found hair, lipstick mark on pillow, tape, food crumbs on the bed sheet. We were so tired and only stayed for one night so we thought maybe just bear with it since we would be checking out in the morning. Then we went into the bathroom to take a shower to find hair in the sink and an old, yellowish Nike sport bra hanging on the curtain rod of the shower…. We were so drained from walking the whole day, had to wait until 3pm to check in because the hotel staff have to “clean the room” for us to be put in such an outrageous mess. Not to mention the AC smells like mildew and wet socks that makes the room so humid. I’ve stayed at Wyndham before in Seattle and LA but this one is nothing like the other locations. Horrible experience.

Due to covid restrictions, the free shuttle to JFK has been suspended and the fitness centre remains closed. It's pretty close to the metro, so it should be pretty convenient to travel to and from the city. The staff at the front desk were super polite and kind. Overall: Very Satisfied.
