This place is not a scam, but it is super expensive for a rather uncomfortable experience! The only good thing is a great location. The front desk staff seem really overworked and there is just 1 or 2 people to help at a time, with sometimes more than 10 people waiting in the tiny lobby area. They charge you to hold your luggage, and then they lost one of my bags and had me follow them to multiple rooms to try and find it (we did eventually find it). The room was freezing cold and I didn’t notice a small space heater tucked behind the trash can under the sink until the last night I was staying there. Walls are thin and you hear anyone around you. No room to put any of your stuff down, so you end up putting your belongings on the floor or using the oven as a counter area. No paper towels in the shared bathroom, and the stall door on one of the two stalls did not shut. They did not scam me and they did refund my deposit. That being said, I wouldn’t stay here again.

They refused to refund the $175 "Damage Deposit" for my stay in October 2024. Their website states this is a "Refundable Deposit" but I called four times to see if I could get it back and got the runaround every time "It is too late", "the accounting office is closed". Finally the rude person I talked to hung up on me. If you check the other major booking sites, there are many complaints about not returning the "damage deposit" (people use "deposit" but they mean damage deposit). Their web site says the deposit is refundable but this was not on the booking site I used and I only saw it when I got my booking confirmation. My room was cold (no heating) and only one blanket provided so I slept with my clothes on. "Shared washroom" means on the floor I was on, 50 rooms shared the same washroom. I would never stay here again, even if it was free. December 14, 2024- with the tremendous help of Booking.com, I got my money back. The hotel claimed to Booking that I did not return the room key ( news to me, they are wrong). If you see they have processed the $175 US on your credit card statement, call your credit card company right away and tell them not to pay it. Positives about this place- location is excellent, cleanliness was very good, and fire safety excellent ( I used to be a fire inspector).

This place is a SCAM... I definitely don't recommend this place. Before booking I called to make sure the accepted cash deposits the manager Eliza confirmed they do accept cash. Once I arrived the security guard at the front desk said they don't take cash did let him know that we had already spoke with Eliza that said we could he then proceeded to call her and I have proof recording where he spoke with her and confirmed upon checking out we would be getting our deposit back. Once we checked out they didn't have money to give us the deposit back. The lady working the front desk then just told us we would have to call Eliza and see what she could do. This lady is so rude and unprofessional she said she didn't know when her employees cleaned the rooms and that the lady working the front desk couldn't leave her desk to check our room. She then told me I would have to wait for Monday after 12:30 to come pick up my money or for me to leave my Cashapp or Zelle so she could return refund. I told her I was going to call the police and she started getting rude and told me we were really not getting our money back then hung up the call and blocked my number. I have been calling the hotel and they say she isn't available and I need to call back when shes there. I have disputed my stay with Expedia they have been help and haven't been able to get in contact with Eliza. I would just STAY FAR AWAY from this business. I have also put a complaint in with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. This place deserves 0 STARS.....

I will not stop posting bad reviews here until this hotel refund my deposit and compensate the time I spent on filling the complaints against them. Big scammers and very rude receptionist who seems to be the only one who answers the phone. I am sure this hotel phone number is her personal number. Complaints have been filled already. I wonder how this kind of business is still active after all the reviews I saw on their website. I am asking whoever is in charge of this hotel to quickly resolve this because it is unacceptable.

This hotel is a scam! First of all it is the green awning towards the left of the corner store on the photo! The AC unit doesn’t even blow out cold air and you will wake up sweating from the hot air . Not to mention you have one dinky pillow per bed. When I first found this hotel the price total was &102, but it was not that price. I stayed in room 816, paid over $500 when I could’ve stayed in a luxurious Hilton hotel instead. I found a round hair ball on the bed….gross….the showers are common bathrooms so you have to bring sandals to bathe because the bugs on the wall, floors are dirty in the community shower had hair balls, trash, and tooth paste on the floor…gross. My friend did not shower on her birthday because the bathroom is so scary. Anyone can walk in and you have to share the bathroom with the 77 rooms on the same floor and there is no trash can in the bathroom. The doors in the stalls doesn’t even close. I attached a photo of the only towel that is included and the soap and shampoo, rolling my eyes. This is the worst experience of my life and the staff is horribly rude don’t forget to bring the extra $175 deposit.
