Hotel Stanford offers big, clean, spacious rooms with really comfortable beds and showers with great water pressure (which is a big deal for my family). Its location is perfect for walking accessibility to some of the places tourists favor. We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't speak on that part, but overall, this hotel was perfect for our stay and we already decided we will stay here again when we come back to NYC.

Terrible breakfast. *Pros*: The hotel is in a super convenient location, in the most touristic part of Manhattan. It is really easy to reach the most touristic attractions like Empire State, Time Square and so on. The room was quiet even if it was facing the street. It was also big, clean and comfy. The staff was friendly *Cons*: The breakfast was terrible. I don't know if this is the standard of NY, but we get: white and wheat bread and beagle from the plastic bag, one jam, honey, cheese and peanut butter. One type of cereal, bananas and yogurts. House-like coffee machine and hot water for tea. Also a small remark on the shower: it was only possible to calibrate the temperature, but not the jet intensity.

Only thing i have to say is to not expect too much from the complimentary breakfast as its just take and go options. Other than that, it started my trip off great.
Mar 03, 2025 · lily villMy daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights back in October. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel staff was kind and friendly. The environment felt very safe (which was most important to me, traveling with my young daughter) and the location was great, with quick, easy access to the MTA. It was more affordable than many hotels in NYC and it offered great service for the price. This is our hotel of choice when we attend NYC from now on.
Mar 01, 2025 · Tasha PrescottStaff are very nice. The room I got was very clean and in good shape. As I often do, I checked the mattress - all good there and the bed was comfortable. Unbeatable location for subway travel. I would gladly stay again.
