We hosted a group of 17 from 4 states this past week for 3 days at the resort using 8 rooms and a Hospitality Suite. It turned out to be the perfect location. The staff at the desk were very helpful, the Shuttle drivers were excellent, one even gave us a tour of the park plus take and return us to Stone Mtn Village. We ate at all 3 restaurants, had excellent service and the food was very good at all 3. One evening we took a boat ride on the lake that was very enjoyable. The Captain & his helper were excellent. It turned out to be an wonderful stay. We thank everyone at the resort for making it so enjoyable.

May 11, 2025 · Beverly NewmanWonderful stay. The front desk was so nice and helpful, Drea was her name. I called to have the shuttle pick my daughter and I up from the Stone Mountain attraction and she had already sent him to get us so we wouldn’t have to wait. The restaurant staff was super friendly, they were understaffed only two of them, but they were pleasant and took care of everyone as quickly as they could. The food was pretty good. Overall a great place to stay, clean, quiet, and great service. Thank you.

May 10, 2025 · Jacy JonesThe location is absolutely amazing, the park is beautiful and the pool area too BUT for the cost (which you have to pay an extra $20 to even access the hotel) it is not worth it. The beauty is the park, go to the park - dont stay at the hotel. The indoor pool was stinky, too hot and made our eyes water and my kids had a rash after. The outdoor pool was not heated so it was freezing but we didnt mind. There was a “hiking trail” - it was not marked at all - led on one side to the parking, to a heater of some sort and then to the park - but theres really no trail. It was confusing and theres also no lighting so walk early - not that its long (maybe 5min walk). The rooms are normal, nothing special. The balcony is nice but also nothing special. For the price I’d say overcharged. I had a better breakfast and check in at TRU by Hilton for 1/2 the cost. The room was too warm even when we had the AC on. The shampoo made our hair super dry so bring your own. I dont normally care about these but yikes. The worst is the staff - very dismissive and not attentive. At check in I tried to extend my stay and she kept saying its okay its okay but never actually helped. She ignored me completely and then blamed me for not being clear. I noticed this happened to other guests checking in and out. The manager is actually nice but won’t resolve any monetary disputes. For the cost, anything you want to do at the park is not covered. Breakfast was Buffet style but terrible taste, all dry and around $20/person which should be enough for an amazing buffet. Hell not expecting Vegas Buffet levels but for $20 should be decent. Not very kid friendly. Theres nothing to do except the pool. The starbucks closes early and was subpar. I loved the park but felt very angry at myself for wasting money on this place. If the staff would have been nice or even listened, I wouldnt complain. PICTURED: “trail”,view of pool area, park drive to resort.
Apr 04, 2025 · LizSuch a terrific birthday evening at the wonderful Waterside Restaurant! The beautiful hostess Dulce seated us at a private table with fantastic view. And served our meal so attentively and graciously. The manager was so very accommodating, and even served us drinks and checked on us regularly. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier or more memorable experience. We ALWAYS come here for our most special family gatherings, and so should you!!
