I hope they use my complaint on safety, sanitation, and comfort to raise their standards for the future. I will not get into details as I have been in contact with the GM. Customer service was genuine and great. The front desk clerk was friendly, accommodating, and morbidly concerned with the issues I had. That type of customer service was more than just training. You can tell he actually was happy. The breakfast, even though basic, was also done with care. The cook made the best of what he had. Enjoying what he did. The breakfast cook and the front desk clerk made up for the stay 100%. Thank you, guys.

The hotel's design and amenities are typically in line with the Best Western brand standard for a mid-range property, focusing on essential comforts. Many guests report that the hotel feels "newly renovated," contributing to a fresh and clean appearance in common areas. The lobby and shared spaces are generally well-maintained. The ambiance is often described as quiet, contributing to a peaceful stay for many visitors. However, it's important to acknowledge that some customer feedback indicates significant concerns regarding cleanliness and comfort in individual rooms. Reports of dirty sheets found under mattresses and general sanitation issues suggest inconsistencies in room upkeep. Despite these specific complaints, the overall aesthetic is one of a standard, no-frills inn.
Best Western Buffalo Inn & Suites provides several services and amenities designed to enhance guest convenience. A notable feature is the complimentary full breakfast, which often includes a selection of hot items like eggs, waffles, bacon, and sausage, alongside fresh fruit, cereals, and beverages. Guests frequently praise the breakfast, describing it as "basic" but "done with care," with particular appreciation for the cooks' efforts. This breakfast is generally served daily from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the property, both in common areas and guest rooms, allowing guests to stay connected. Free self-parking is available on-site, including space for RVs, buses, and trucks, which is a valuable amenity for those traveling with larger vehicles. For recreation and fitness, the hotel provides a 24-hour complimentary exercise facility equipped with weightlifting equipment, stair steppers, and treadmills. While some Best Western properties offer a pool, current information specifically for this location does not consistently confirm one, so it would be advisable to confirm directly with the hotel if this is a desired amenity.
Each guest room typically includes essential amenities such as a flat-screen TV with cable channels, air conditioning, a desk/work area, and a mini-refrigerator. Hairdryers are provided in the private bathrooms. The hotel also offers 24-hour front desk service, express check-out, and laundry facilities.
A significant highlight consistently mentioned by guests is the excellent customer service provided by the front desk staff and the breakfast cook. However, it is crucial to address a severe concern raised in one of the customer reviews, specifically an allegation of racial profiling by the General Manager. This serious claim describes a situation where two young Black men were allegedly targeted and accused of smoking in their room without similar checks being conducted on other guests, leading to an extremely negative and distressing experience. This feedback directly impacts the perception of the hotel's environment and service standards, highlighting a potential issue of discrimination. While the hotel did not provide a direct response to this specific allegation, such a claim is a significant consideration for potential guests regarding the hotel's inclusive and respectful environment. Additionally, the inconsistency in room amenities (e.g., microwave, iron) and occasional cleanliness issues in rooms, despite positive feedback on common areas and bed cleanliness, are points for guests to consider. The hotel has a strict no-pet policy, which is important for travelers with animals to note (service animals are exempt).

It is always recommended for prospective guests to visit the official Best Western website or contact the hotel directly to inquire about current promotions, confirm specific amenity availability (like microwaves or irons in rooms if crucial), and clarify any policies, particularly regarding the shuttle service or any concerns related to past guest experiences. The hotel's value proposition generally lies in its complimentary breakfast, free parking, and the often-praised customer service from front-line staff, making it a functional choice for many travelers in the Buffalo area.

Feb 18, 2025 · JoeReally disappointed with my stay at this hotel this pass weekend. First my brother and I were racially profiled during our stay as the General Manager came into our room because someone called them and said we were smoking in the room when we're weren't. We were the only two young black men staying at this location and he didn't knock on anyone else's door to check there room but ours. Second the room had no microwave or iron. We then found a dirty sheet under the mattress. This was my first and last time staying at a best western
May 05, 2025 · Sean JonesThe hotel is clean, and the rooms are good. The breakfast had some variety. We spent New Year's Eve, and I have to say that the guy at the front desk was working from 4:00 pm, and the person that was supposed to take over just called out. He kept being nice and smiling to the guests. We appreciate that kind of customer service.
Jan 01, 2025 · R. ODBStaff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was quiet. Rooms were small and the thermostat wasn't working properly. In addition, no soap was provided in the bathroom and we had to use the shampoo in the shower when having to wash hands. Only towels provided were bath towels and one face cloth. Breakfast in the morning was cold and very poorly stocked.
