Decided on a small getaway with Friends, was looking for something cheap but decent, I have had reasonably good luck in the past with Red roof inn & Motel 6 with only small issues sometimes, used to travel quite a bit, ran across some iffy rooms in the past but this tops it all with the owner plane right out not caring apparently. Was booked on Expedia, my friend and me got there check-in person could not find our reservation, finally after 15 minutes they did, could have definitely looked past that if the room was decent but that was just the start. Opening the room door it reeked so strong of "air freshener" I had to step out you could literally taste it in your mouth! Seems like they released a whole bottle in there & sealed the place up had to get a air purifier. After that first thing I noticed was,Picture glass cracked and lamp shade missing, stains everywhere, phone jack hanging from wall, holes in walls all over, mirror has black marks on it,writing in drawers, things taped such as the remote battery cover I didn't get pictured. Only thing I can give this property a + for is the bed and HVAC unit we're reasonably clean in the room (I did check the filters obviously) however from what I could tell it was a near brand new HVAC unit & bed, so I am assuming those will be in disarray very soon also missing the chain lock on the door so had no secure lock. Overall a very bad experience one of the worst for rooms not worth the $. For Budget properties I'll stick to Red roof inn & Motel 6 ect. At least they got to abide by some standards. As far as the outside of the property? just gets even "better" door #s taped on cardboard, fire extinguisher housing on outside of building taped up with duct tape and much much more would take 2 days alone to find all the hidden stuff here. And for your viewing pleasure has a white Rusty tarped up "creeper van" in the parking lot in disrepair. Too bad they found the reservation would have been better somewhere else. Do yourself a favor & book at least with a cheap chain place so you can have some recourse so hopefully doesn't end up like this. Only thing positive to this place is the location.
For local users in search of "Hotels Near Of Me" around the Buffalo-Niagara area, Hospitality Inn - Buffalo Airport presents itself as a budget-friendly lodging option. Located at 6627 Transit Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221, USA, with a phone number of (716) 631-5415, this motel aims to cater to travelers seeking convenient access to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) and surrounding attractions.
Environment and Location:
The Hospitality Inn - Buffalo Airport is strategically positioned near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, making it a potentially convenient choice for those with early morning flights or late-night arrivals. Its address on Transit Road in Williamsville places it within reasonable proximity to several points of interest. It is noted to be minutes away from the airport and is also conveniently located at Exit 49 off the New York State Thruway / Interstate 90. This accessible location means guests can potentially reach areas like the University at Buffalo - North Campus, Walden Galleria Mall, and even Niagara Falls within a short drive. While the immediate surroundings on Transit Road are typically commercial, the hotel's placement allows for relatively easy access to various amenities and attractions in the wider Buffalo area.
However, it is important to provide a balanced view of the environment. Some customer reviews indicate concerns about the external appearance of the property. Descriptions such as "door #s taped on cardboard," "fire extinguisher housing on outside of building taped up with duct tape," and a "white Rusty tarped up 'creeper van' in the parking lot in disrepair" suggest that the exterior maintenance might not always be up to standard. This aspect could influence a guest's initial impression and overall comfort level with the property's immediate environment.
Services and Amenities:
Hospitality Inn - Buffalo Airport offers a range of basic amenities designed to provide a functional stay. Key services include a 24-hour front desk, free self-parking, and free Wi-Fi in public areas and guestrooms. The hotel provides 32 accommodations, all equipped with air conditioning. In-room amenities typically feature flat-screen televisions with premium cable channels, refrigerators, and microwaves, which can be useful for guests on a budget or those staying for extended periods. Bathrooms include showers, and housekeeping is offered daily. Hair dryers can be requested from the front desk. Complimentary wired and wireless internet access is available throughout the property, catering to both leisure and business travelers. Business-friendly amenities like desks and phones are also provided in the rooms.
While some reviews mention "free Wi-Fi," "free parking," and "24hr front desk" as positive aspects, it's worth noting that the range of amenities is generally described as basic. There is no indication of a pool or fitness center at this specific property, which might be a consideration for guests looking for more recreational options during their stay.
Features:
The primary feature of the Hospitality Inn - Buffalo Airport is its proximity to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, making it a practical choice for airport-related travel. Its conservative rooms offer essential conveniences like a microwave and refrigerator, which can help guests save on dining costs. The hotel's focus appears to be on providing affordable and straightforward lodging rather than luxury or extensive facilities. The presence of a 24-hour front desk is a notable feature, ensuring that guests can check in or seek assistance at any time.
However, an objective look at customer feedback reveals some significant concerns regarding the condition of the rooms and the overall guest experience. Reviews frequently mention issues such as strong chemical odors (like "air freshener" to mask other smells), cracked picture glass, missing lamp shades, stains on surfaces, phone jacks hanging from walls, holes in walls, black marks on mirrors, and remote battery covers taped on. The absence of a chain lock on the door also raises security concerns for some guests. While some guests have found the beds and HVAC units to be reasonably clean or new, the general impression from multiple reviews points to a property that may be in need of more comprehensive maintenance and upgrades. There have also been instances of rude or unhelpful staff interactions reported, which significantly impact the "hospitality" aspect of the stay. Some guests have expressed that for budget properties, they would prefer established chains like Red Roof Inn or Motel 6, implying that even within the budget segment, Hospitality Inn - Buffalo Airport may fall short of certain standards.
Promotional Information:
As a hotel listed under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, the Hospitality Inn - Buffalo Airport aims to attract travelers seeking convenient and affordable lodging close to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Promotional aspects would likely emphasize its strategic location for air travelers and its basic amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and parking. Given the competitive landscape of airport hotels, the inn might also highlight its price point as a key differentiator for budget-conscious individuals. Online travel agencies and booking platforms often feature this hotel, and it would likely be presented as a simple, no-frills option for short stays or layovers. It's common for such properties to offer standard rates that appeal to those prioritizing cost and location over extensive services or modern decor.
However, potential guests should be aware of the varied customer experiences reported. While some find it acceptable for a brief, economical stay, others have reported highly negative experiences that directly contradict the expectation of "hospitality." It is advisable for prospective guests to temper their expectations and consider recent reviews when making a booking, particularly if they are seeking a higher standard of room condition or customer service.

Oct 19, 2024 · Justin WilliamsI was there was 0 or - rating to write a review. Place name is hospitality inn but that was the receptionist lags. Made a booking by accident. And I reached the property where payment was to be collected. The arrogant lady says speak to the Expedia to cancel I won’t cancel. And she wanted to charge me money. Thanks to Expedia person who sorted issue in 2 mins. Spoke to her. And such a rude prick she is saying u need to have common sense to make a booking. Such a bogus person. Cheap skate. In other words the worst half witted nomadic insane person I have ever spoken at a hotel. Yukk!! Don’t have words to describe the worst experience I had in just 15mins. Never in my worst dream would recommend this place! If she is not the owner she should be fired.
Jul 12, 2024 · vivek rachuriWhen I'm working I spend most of my summer living on the road out of hotels. I've stayed at many different hotels of varying quality. It's safe to say this place absolutely blew even the grimiest most disgusting places I've stayed at out of the water making them look like luxury suites by comparison. To begin with, I only needed to book here because there was a mix up on the schedule and I needed to stay in town only one extra night. As I said, I've been to some less than ideal places that work in a pinch so I figured how bad could it be? I checked in for over $190 after tax. When I inspected my room I found bedbugs, cockroaches, stains of unidentified substances on just about everything in the room, and a significant crack in the seam of the already barely secure door. I thought to myself..ok this is pretty bad, but it's just one night I'll make it work. That was until I got back from a long day at work to rap music blasting, people hanging off the banisters screaming, and people physically fighting in the parking lot while clearly under the influence of God knows what. Nevertheless I hurried into my room and locked the door and got ready to settle down when I was startled by banging on my window. I'd had enough at that point and decided to get out of there. I went to the office and very politely explained all of this to the lady working there and simply asked for a refund so I can find another place to stay. As expected from a sleazy place like this, she refused to give me my money back. Even so, it was worth the loss to go to another hotel being the first and only time I've ever done so.
Aug 06, 2023 · Nick Del RossoAbsolutely disgusting! We checked in during a really bad snowstorm. The room was not good. The toilet wouldn't flush. We asked the front desk about it. Their response was just to look under the top of the tank and push the black button. Seriously?! That didn't work. We figured we'd leave very early in the a.m. and deal with that issue. But the door to the room wouldn't even lock!! Two deadbolts were installed. The first deadbolt knob would only turn. Upon opening the door, I saw the knob was only a dummy. There was no bolt. The next one wouldn't even turn at all. It was badly installed. It would only turn when the door is open. Not secure at all!! Again, we called the front desk to inquire about another room. They were no help. We said we'd be back to the office, we were checking out, and we expected a refund. This place was gross and not secure at all.
Nov 18, 2022 · La DaFirst, the only positive is the bed was comfortable. The mirror over the vanity was filthy, the door would not lock from the inside, free morning coffee had no cups and it was incredibly noisy. Some of the other rooms were rented by some pretty sketchy looking people. The room smelt like weed all night as it wafted in from the outside. Do not stay here!!
