Our room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you Jody and Robin! We had our dog with us and Bob (maintenance) made us feel very welcome. Tammy supplied the kitchen with breakfast which included waffles with local yummy Baird Farm maple syrup! Real maple syrup! Very clean and great selection of food. Stella on the front desk was so friendly and helpful. It was very peaceful and felt rural even though the city was just down the road. We will definitely stay here again!

May 18, 2025 · Debi GrayWe have family in the area so we have stayed at this location several times. We love the location and the rooms are nice. We had a late check in and the lovely manager Mellissa upgraded our room for the night. It was very kind and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you !
May 11, 2025 · Nicole FarrWonderful Stay with Excellent Service I had a great stay at this hotel in Vermont. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, but what really stood out was Jennifer at the front desk. She was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations that made our trip even better. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference. Highly recommend this place!
Feb 08, 2025 · Suat OzturkWe worked with Best Western to secure additional rooms for our wedding at Mountain Top Resort, and it was a great choice. The rooms were clean, rustic, and had a charming cabin feel, perfectly complemented the Vermont atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and the staff allowed us to set up signage for transportation on the wedding day, which made it so easy for our guests. Best Western was a reliable and accommodating option for our wedding weekend, and we were very happy with our experience.
Jan 27, 2025 · Megan JalbertUpdate: I appreciate your response on the issues I have outlined, but your responses sound as if you are trying to downplay the issues with your hotel and redirect the blame at your customer. With regards to the shower temperate fluctuation, we were also traveling with another family and they had the same issue. Therefore, it is not an isolated issue only in the room I had stayed in. Now you are aware. I truly hope this is resolved by your staff. With my complaint regarding the multiple room cleaning requests, I agree that your staff should not touch guest items. However, in ANY hotel we stayed in the past, we have ALWAYS made sure to tidy up our belongings and pack everything away to make it easier for the hotel staff to clean. No other hotels that we had ever stayed in had any issues cleaning our room. Not sure why it was an issue for your staff...unless if they never came to begin with. With your rationale on the towel bar, now you are just insulting your customers and think that they lack any intelligence. EVERYONE knows what the “do not disturb” sign is for. And we have stay at many different hotels and all have the same rules. Once the sign is hung, the hotel staff is expected not to enter the room. We have made multiple requests for our room to be cleaned and had ensure that the sign was not up due to that reason. So please do not attempt to redirect blame at your customers. It is not how you do business…and unfortunately, it shows. Again, I appreciate your response and unfortunately, it was a bad experience and will put this behind me. I hope your hotel does better in the future. Thank you. ********************************** Original Review: The only good thing about this hotel is that the drive is 15 mins from Killington. We stayed during the last week in December break for 3 nights and it was the worst experience ever. The staff told us when we arrived to make sure to let them know if we need housekeeping a day before, so I made sure to tell them during my 2nd day stay please if they can send someone while we're out to tidy the room and replace the towels. Also, the towel bar was broken and I told them there's a sharp edge that was protruding out which can be dangerous since I have children. They told me they marked it down for me. By the time we came back after skiing around 6pm, no housekeeping came and the towel bar was not fixed. I went to the front desk and they said next day they will send someone so next day, day 3, I stopped by the front desk in the morning and reminded them about the housekeeping and broken towel bar, and there were two staffs there that both looked at me and said ok as one of them typed on the computer to mark it down. When we came back from skiing around 6pm again, no housekeeping came and the towel bar was not fixed. At this point, it's already our last night stay and saw no point but to just go to the front desk to ask for clean towels. There were no apology nor acknowledgement for their lack of hotel management etiquette that despite several reminders they had no concerns for guests' safety since that broken towel bar as I had mentioned to them was sharp and we stayed for 3 nights they did not send housekeeping. Also, showering was not any better. The water would suddenly turn from warm to scolding hot where I had to jump out of the shower. When I turn the knob a centimeter to make it warm again, the water turned ice cold. I had to keep turning a centimeter clockwise and counter-clockwise so often in order to simply wash the soap off my body. Why the extreme in temperature?? Never again will I stay in this hotel! I would give 0 stars if I could.
