I think my favorite part of this hotel was parking at their half empty lot with broken down cars and walking up to the locked doors. I loved standing in 17° weather talking to the owner who said 'you don't have a reservation ' though I did and gave him the numbers. The best part of my trip was deciding to drive 4 hours home at 11:30 at night because hotels nearby were 300$ for a minimum of 2 nights and I thought this lodge would give us a good chance of saving money and cheap living until the next day. Anal was helpful in telling me how it's a sad inconvenience for me and how he's sorry but that doesn't create a vacancy nor does it fix 1/2 your broken rooms during remodeling. Wonder why 1/2 the rooms need remodeling during a busy season in VT? was it bugs or section 8 housing or what.

Jan 05, 2025 · kristopher lowengrubIt's a dump, with No microwave to cook! Was no TV when I arrived. They dropped one in front of the door, with the Dirtiest remote that Didn't work with that tv. With all the riff raff at night,I Don't go out of my room. Feels like I'm in prison ! I had a pacemaker put in last week and am supposed to stay clear of staff infection. The first night I Killed over 30 flies! Don't know Where they were coming from, but they kept appearing!
Jul 21, 2024 · William FiliasNot the experience anyone should get when checking in....we drove 10 hours away from Canada as our first stop to get rest before our snowboard trip the next day, when we arrived we were rudely told by the front desk staff as to what we were doing here and told him we were checking in. He told us no and that the room was canceled, which we never did. We checked our email to make sure we got a notification of any cancelation, and none was to be found. (We only found out later that they overbooked other customers and cancelled them too) we asked if they had other rooms and they said no so now we had to book a room last minute at another hotel nearby for 3 times the price. Not impressed and anybody else who wants to book here because it's a cheap place to stay, don't bother. They'll just waste your time and money when you can look for a deal elsewhere.
Feb 17, 2024 · Justin LeclairClean. Well stocked coffee station and shampoos/soap. It had a mini fridge which is nice since most at this price range do not. Great heat, plenty of towels. Bed a bit saggy but comfy. Update: tried to stop here again traveling through and was told we can't reserve at two am. That's not how you run a motel. We went to days inn which quickly got us a room. Just be warned they must close and don't have night staff to reserve rooms. Plan accordingly.
Oct 20, 2017 · Aria SI rarely write reviews. I gave them 4 stars not because the room was spotless, had minor stuff that had to be fixed, and no microwave, not enough towels, didn’t vacuum during my 3 day stay there. But owners were super nice, great customer service, opened the breakfast room for me and my kids even after breakfast hours, helped me with preparing the breakfast while I had to take an important phone call. Internet was free, and the king bed (Beautyrest) was the most comfortable bed ever. My 4-year old left the door of the rental car wide open, and the next morning when I noticed, I freaked out. Nothing was missing, tablets were still in car, as well as my wallet. Super safe. Great location! Again, not just cleanliness but other things matter too!
