It's not too bad. The beds are nice and comfy. Rooms are clean. Breakfast sucks and the elevator is located at one end of the hotel. I know that may sound petty but after working your butt off all day , the only thing you want to do is get to your room and relax. Unfortunately, my key wasn't working, my room is on opposite sides than the elevator, and I was exhausted.

Apr 22, 2025 · JoniThe employee at the front desk was very helpful, professional, and friendly. The location is great. The ROOM itself was not impressive. The carpet had two very noticeable red stains - it looks like there was red staining on the ceiling as well, but it might have been a missing piece. The carpet needs REPLACED. The bathroom needed a thorough deep cleaning. It just felt old and in need of replacing.
Mar 04, 2025 · Laura J.What an absolutely delightful stay! Yes, they were undergoing some major renovations but it did not affect our stay at all. It only made me more excited to return once they’re done. The employees were so sweet, the room was immaculate, and the continental breakfast was just the cherry on top ❤️ Thank you!
Mar 11, 2025 · Savannah BauerI am on a mission to find a Comfort Inn that is clean, comfortable, and normal. Once again, I have struck out. This location was in terrible condition, and I honestly don’t think our room was even cleaned before we arrived. There were literal leftovers from the previous guests sitting on top of the microwave, used soap still in the shower, and even pills on the floor. The carpet and couch were covered in stains, making the entire room feel grimy. To make matters worse, the AC unit was full of mold, so we couldn’t even run the air without worrying about breathing that in. The only slight positive was that I didn’t hear our neighbors, but that didn’t make up for how bad the stay was. We were traveling in a group and had two separate rooms. While my room was the worst, our friends had their own issues—their entire hallway smelled strongly of marijuana, which made their stay uncomfortable. Overall, this was a horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone. The lack of cleanliness and basic upkeep was beyond unacceptable.
Mar 16, 2025 · The HousekeeperMy team and I traveled to Augusta after Hurricane Helene. We were working with disaster relief. We arrived in town the morning after the storm rolled through. We worked all day into the night and had someone at our office book hotels for us to stay close by. When we arrived to the hotel there was no power. Why they allowed us to book a room, I will never know. Since it was booked online we paid online. The manager greeted me at the door and told me that they would refund our money. 3 months later and they have still not refunded us. The last we had heard, they were denying the refund, and have now stopped communicating all together. $1,000 down the drain, and they ripped off people that were in town to give their time to help the community recover. This is worse than price gouging. The manager(Dejay)of this establishment is a thief and a liar. There are many hotels in the area that we housed people in for two plus months that have good decent people running operations. If this is the last place in Augusta with vacancy you are better off driving to the next city. In response to their response... I have worked with Expedia for hours trying to recoup the $1,000 that was stolen from me. They have attempted to contact Dejay at the hotel and said several times that they were unable to reach him. They need Dejay, the hotel manager, to confirm that we did not stay in that room due to lack of power and Dejay would not answer the call or return their emails. And the last email that I received from Expedia was that Dejay denied the refund. I understand that you may not have received any funds from Expedia, but you allowed us to book a room when you knew that you were without power, and now you refuse to approve the refund. What you are doing is no better than what Expedia is doing. Be better! Here is an email from Expedia on 3/1/25. 5+ months after I paid for an unoccupiable hotel… Hello William, We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We wanted to follow up after our last conversation, where you asked us to refund your booking and reach out to your property to see if refunding your cancellation fee was possible. We have contacted Comfort Inn & Suites Augusta Fort Eisenhower Area to see if they could make an exception and grant a refund. Unfortunately, after multiple tries, we weren't able to obtain an approval from the property manager to waive the cancellation fee. This means the current rules and restrictions for your booking apply and a refund can't be granted. We're really sorry about this; we always try to contact suppliers and advocate for our travelers in these situations. Properties often have strict policies around refunds, and there's nothing more we can do in this case. Again, we're sorry that a refund wasn't possible. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Regards, Pallavi Expedia US Travel Team
