Came to the Amicalola Falls restaurant for Valentine's dinner tonight. Made the drive over with a 7 pm dinner reservation. When we got here, they indicated the reservation would not be honored, and we would have to wait 30+ minutes for dinner. Meanwhile, there are many empty tables in the restaurant. What a poorly run place. Of course, there is nowhere within 20-30 minutes of here, so now we are stuck with this lousy customer service and staff attitudes. Place is way too expensive for this kind of treatment. I intend to reach out to my state rep to suggest that Coral Hospitality's contract not be renewed. Hopefully, we can get someone in here who knows how to run a restaurant.

Coral Hospitality Georgia LLC manages a diverse portfolio of properties, many of which are situated in picturesque and nature-rich environments across Georgia. These include notable locations such as Amicalola Falls State Park & Adventure Lodge, Unicoi State Park & Adventure Lodge, Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa, and Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge.
The environments of these managed properties vary significantly, catering to different preferences. For instance, properties within state parks, like Amicalola Falls and Unicoi, emphasize natural beauty and outdoor adventures. Guests can expect to be surrounded by lush landscapes, offering opportunities for hiking, zip-lining, and other nature-based activities. These locations are designed to provide an immersive outdoor experience, often featuring rustic charm balanced with comfortable accommodations.
Resort and golf club properties, such as Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club and Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa, typically offer a more polished and amenity-rich environment. These settings often include well-maintained golf courses, spa facilities, and a range of dining options, catering to guests looking for relaxation, recreation, and a touch of luxury. The overall ambiance across Coral Hospitality's managed properties aims to create memorable experiences rooted in their unique settings.
Coral Hospitality's overarching mission is to provide world-class service and create lavish memories. They operate with a philosophy centered on "inspired marketing and operational protocols" to enhance guest satisfaction and financial growth for property owners. Their services extend to various aspects of hospitality management, including sales, marketing, revenue management, and operations.
Across their managed properties, guests can generally expect a focus on comfort and a range of amenities. For example, lodges in state parks like Unicoi often provide various accommodation types, from guest rooms and suites to unique barrel cabins and lakeside cabins, as well as campsites. These locations might offer recreational activities like archery and air rifle ranges, zip lines, paddle boarding, kayaking, fly fishing, GPS scavenger hunts, and mountain biking.
For resort-style properties, the services often expand to include professional golf and tennis clubs, luxurious spa facilities, and diverse culinary experiences. This can range from chef-driven restaurants to cafes and bars, as seen in some of the properties they manage or have managed. Coral Hospitality emphasizes a "full-service" approach, aiming to provide a comprehensive experience for guests. They also focus on creating an inspired culture among their staff, believing that a well-trained and passionate team is key to delivering exceptional service.
A distinctive feature of Coral Hospitality's approach, particularly for their state park lodges, is the branding of these locations as "Adventure Lodges of Georgia." This branding highlights the focus on outdoor adventure and family-friendly activities. The introduction of facilities like new Archery and Air Rifle Ranges at properties like Unicoi State Park & Lodge and Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club exemplifies this commitment to unique recreational offerings. These ranges are often accessible to both experienced enthusiasts and beginners, with instructional classes available.
The emphasis on "creating world-class, luxurious hospitality experiences" is a core tenet. This suggests a dedication to high standards in everything from the physical upkeep of properties to the quality of guest interactions. Their experience spans nearly three decades, focusing on various segments of hospitality, including hotels, resorts, country clubs, condominiums, spas, and marinas. This broad expertise allows them to tailor services and features to the specific needs and character of each managed property. They aim to provide a "true luxury destination" where guests feel cared for and their experiences are unforgettable.
Coral Hospitality often runs promotions across its managed properties. For example, historical promotions have included "96-Hour Sales" offering discounted rates for overnight stays at locations like Unicoi State Park & Lodge, Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge, and Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club. These promotions typically have specific booking windows and stay dates, with conditions regarding existing reservations, group blocks, and other discounts. It is advisable for prospective guests to check the individual websites of the properties they are interested in, or the main Coral Hospitality website, for current and upcoming promotional offers.
It is important for local users searching "Hotels Near Of Me" to consider that experiences can vary between different properties managed by Coral Hospitality. Customer reviews provide valuable insights. For instance, some past feedback from guests at locations managed by Coral Hospitality has indicated concerns regarding service quality and room cleanliness. One review cited issues with reservation honoring and staff attitudes at a restaurant, describing the experience as "poorly run" and "way too expensive for this kind of treatment." Another review mentioned a "filthy bathroom" with mildewed shower and curtain, and missing basic supplies like toilet paper and kitchen towels in a "barrel cabin" at Unicoi. These reviews highlight the importance of checking recent feedback for specific properties and managing expectations.
While Coral Hospitality aims for world-class service and luxurious experiences, the actual guest experience can be influenced by the specific property and its operational details. Potential guests are encouraged to look beyond the general management philosophy and delve into recent reviews for the particular hotel or lodge they are considering. This will provide a more accurate picture of the current conditions and service levels.
In conclusion, Coral Hospitality Georgia LLC, located in Alpharetta, GA, is a hospitality management company that oversees a portfolio of diverse properties across Georgia. When searching for "Hotels Near Of Me," users may encounter their managed locations, which range from adventure-focused state park lodges to amenity-rich resorts. Feb 15, 2025 · John ConnollyWe stayed in a Unicoi barrel cabin with a flithy bathroom. The shower and shower curtain were mildewed. Carpet throughout needs a good cleaning. Basic supplies like toilet paper and kitchen towels were missing. I much prefer the state park cabins managed by the state.
