The hotel is actually pretty decent, not too big and is in a fantastic location considering it’s right off of the I-90. I wish I had taken photos of the room because the bathroom was spacious and perfectly clean, the shower was huge and had great water pressure and was hot. The bed was comfortable enough and aside from some questionable stains on the one chair it was very clean. But there were a few things that made my stay unpleasant. I paid $250 for one night. My room was across from the staff room which had the door open while employees were in there listening to music and talking. So I could hear everything in my room. At 1:30 in the morning I heard very loud women outside of my room and I’m unsure if it was staff or guests but I honestly thought that someone was fighting before I realized they were just being loud. Check in also took way longer than I would’ve liked considering I had booked and paid online in advance. It took almost 15 minutes for me to get checked in, 5 of which were spent waiting for someone to appear at the front desk. And my biggest complaint is about the curtains. My room was on the first floor and faced the parking lot. There was a sheer curtain across the window, with drapes on either side. However the drapes were not made to close. The track they were on was only about a foot wide. You could see where someone had tried so hard to close them that they ripped. So I had headlights and the outside lights from this hotel and the hotel across the parking lot shining directly into my face while I was trying to sleep. I had had an emotional stay and therefore did not feel comfortable going to the front desk to ask about it. It was insane to me, I had zero privacy and my entire room was lit up from all the lights outside. Had I not spent so much money on this room I would give it more stars, but $250 for a room that I can’t even undress in without being seen? No way. I would stay here again if I had to but would definitely need to get the curtain situation fixed first. The picture you see of my room is with all the lights off, at 1:00am.
For those utilizing the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform in West Seneca, New York, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Buffalo South I-90, NY, situated at 164B Slade Ave, West Seneca, NY 14224, USA, is a hotel that often appears as a convenient option. As part of the Radisson Hotels portfolio, it generally aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere with a focus on comfort and value-added amenities for both leisure and business travelers.

The environment at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson generally strives for a cozy and inviting atmosphere, characteristic of the brand. The lobby often features a fireplace, creating a warm and relaxed space for guests. Many guests appreciate the hotel's efforts to provide a comfortable setting, with one review noting the hotel is "actually pretty decent, not too big." The staff are frequently described as helpful and friendly, working to ensure a pleasant check-in process and address guest needs. However, it is essential to present an objective overview by including all aspects of guest feedback. While the hotel aims for a positive environment, some reviews highlight significant inconsistencies. One guest reported excessive noise from a staff room with an open door and loud individuals in the hallway late at night, disrupting their sleep, with concerns whether it was staff or other guests. Another, more critical review described a room with initial issues like hair and lint or other debris on the toilet seat and scattered on the floor, along with rotting, smelly leftovers in the refrigerator, indicating serious lapses in housekeeping. These experiences suggest that while the hotel generally aims for cleanliness and a quiet environment, these standards may not be consistently met across all rooms or during all times, requiring guests to be vigilant upon arrival. Furthermore, check-in can reportedly take longer than desired, even with online pre-payment, as one guest mentioned waiting almost 15 minutes, with a portion of that time spent waiting for someone to appear at the front desk.

The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing pets on request with potential charges, which is a key feature for travelers with animals. Other convenient services include free self-parking (including for RVs/buses/lorries), a 24-hour front desk, express check-out, a library, coffee/tea in common areas, laundry facilities, a snack bar/deli, and vending machines. The availability of a gift/souvenir shop and a mini-market on site further adds to guest convenience.

Each room typically comes equipped with amenities designed for comfort and convenience. Standard features often include a 40-inch flat-screen TV with cable channels, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee/tea maker, a desk, an iron/ironing board, a hairdryer, and free toiletries. Plush bedding and blackout curtains are generally provided, aiming for a restful night's sleep. One guest reported that their bathroom was "spacious and perfectly clean, the shower was huge and had great water pressure and was hot," and the "bed was comfortable enough." However, a significant concern highlighted in a review was the functionality of the blackout curtains; a guest reported that the drapes on their first-floor room facing the parking lot were not designed to close fully, as the track was only about a foot wide. This resulted in "headlights and the outside lights from this hotel and the hotel across the parking lot shining directly into my face," leading to a complete lack of privacy and an inability to undress without being seen, and keeping the entire room lit up at night. This critical flaw, if pervasive, can significantly detract from the intended comfort and privacy of the rooms. Some rooms may also feature separate living areas and sofa beds, which are beneficial for families or those needing extra space. Daily housekeeping is provided to maintain room cleanliness, although guest reviews suggest variability in this aspect, with one guest finding hair and debris on the toilet seat and floor, and rotten food in the fridge of their initial room.

For instance, some promotions might offer "Football Weekend Promotions" with 2-night or 3-night packages. Guests are encouraged to check the official Radisson Hotels website or major travel booking platforms for the most current offers. It's important for guests to be aware of the hotel's policies, including the check-in time of 3:00 PM and check-out time of 12:00 PM, and the minimum check-in age of 21. A refundable damage deposit (typically around USD 100) is usually collected upon arrival and refunded within a certain timeframe after check-out. While the hotel aims to offer a good value proposition, the significant concerns raised by recent guests regarding inconsistent cleanliness (e.g., rotten food in the fridge, hair on the toilet), noise disturbances (staff noise, loud guests), and fundamental room features like curtains (affecting privacy and light control, even at a reported price of $250 for one night) indicate that guests should set their expectations accordingly and consider these factors when making a booking decision. It is always advisable to contact the hotel directly to confirm specific room details and to address any concerns prior to arrival or immediately upon check-in.
In conclusion, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Buffalo South I-90, NY, positions itself as a convenient and amenity-rich option within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in West Seneca. Its strengths include a prime location near the interstate and major attractions, a complimentary hot breakfast, and an indoor pool. The staff often receives praise for their friendliness and willingness to help. However, it is crucial for prospective guests to be aware of significant negative feedback regarding inconsistent room cleanliness, noise disturbances, and critical issues with privacy due to inadequate window coverings that cannot be closed. While the hotel offers many desirable features, the variability in guest experiences, particularly concerning fundamental aspects of comfort and privacy, means that guests should exercise due diligence, perhaps inspecting their room upon arrival and immediately addressing any issues with the front desk to ensure a satisfactory stay.

May 03, 2025 · NellCurrently here. When we first entered our room, I noticed hair and lint or other debris on the toilet seat. I carry wipes, so I cleaned it off, and then I noticed multipe pieces of hair scattered on the floor. Okay, crappy housekeeping. Opened the fridge to discover rotting, smelly leftovers, the smell of which permeated the air. Tried to call the front desk, and the phone didn't work, so we went down to the desk to ask for housekeeping to clean while we were out as we were heading to dinner. The staff at the desk was very nice but there was no housekeeping available so they said they'd switch us to a different room and offered to do it when we returned. When we returned, we were informed that all that was available was a room with 2 queens, and were we okay with that? Not really, but what choice do we have? So, we get to the new room.. and it smells. Maybe last guests had a dog or something, I don't know, but I definitely do not recommend staying at this DIRTY hotel. . Went to the desk to ask for an upgrade to a different room and was informed they're sold out and the room we're in is all that's available but they logged my complaints and a manager will be in tomorrow at 7. That does nothing for me.
May 16, 2025 · Rebecca WalkerRooms were average and fairly clean. But the service here is horrendous. Parking lot was a disaster and a solid sheet of ice during our stay. Multiple guests including myself let the front desk know about this and it was never addressed leaving the parking lot a dangerous place. Front desk staff was rude most of the time. We were made to feel like we were an inconvience. My son did everything he could to avoid the front desk due to the way he had been spoken to. Breakfast was really only a waffle station and stale bagels. There were barely edible eggs too. Overall for the price charged the value is very very poor.
Feb 17, 2025 · Matthew SmallThe room was not clean at all. For a suite, it did not live up to the expectations. Secondly, the wifi wouldn’t connect on our floor at all. Instead of fixing the issue, i was asked to work from the small printer room where i was not treated well by the other guests.
May 17, 2025 · Aditya DeshpandeThe location is great if you are a bills fan its only about 5 miles or a 10 minute drive to the stadium. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. They are on top of everything for breakfast time, ensuring there is ample supply for everyone. The only thing I can say is the hotel is a bit dated and could use a bit of a remodel. That's why I couldn't give 5 stars, but trust me, the staff more than make up for any short falls.
