Recently renovated and rebranded from Le Meridien. The room was clean and quiet, but lacked privacy shades—only blackout curtains are provided, so it’s either full exposure or total darkness. The gym is well equipped (Peloton, treadmills, elliptical, dumbbells, kettlebells, cable machine). By default, turndown and towel service are every other day; towels can be refreshed by request if you ask day of. After some back-and-forth, I was able to arrange daily turndown, which felt more fitting given the price point. The bar and restaurant are clinically lit at night and not especially inviting. Overall, a solid business hotel—but at this price, the experience didn’t quite come together for five stars.

Jun 16, 2025 · Luke O'MalleyI recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Philadelphia Downtown and enjoyed my experience. The staff were all nice and friendly, making check-in and everything else feel easy and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located, which made getting around downtown Philly super convenient. I found out that the property was formerly Le Méridien and recently rebranded as a Courtyard by Marriott. Despite the change, the quality and atmosphere felt consistent and professional. My booking came with free breakfast, which was a great bonus. While the rate was a bit pricey (around $500/night), it was well worth it for a quick business trip. The room had all the essentials I needed: clean, comfortable, and efficient. Great spot if you're traveling for work and want something reliable in the heart of the city.
Jun 20, 2025 · Bong ArquizaWas 'Le Meredien' a couple of weeks ago - I think they may be running from poor reviews? I'd recommend looking up Le Meredien and seeing the dozens of reviews from the last few years about fraud, quality of service, overbooking, etc; each with a reply saying they've brought it to management and they'll follow up and correct etc. - they never did. Hopefully the rebranding means all new management! Just wanted to post this here so people aren't duped by the name change.
