My husband and I stayed for two nights at this Marriott as a weekend getaway. I would like to commend the front desk clerk for being so helpful. She moved us to another room upon checking in due to a wedding party being in the hotel later that evening. She knew we needed peace and quiet. The staff at this hotel was very friendly and made you feel welcome. Having lived in Pittsburgh and returned for a brief stay it is nice to see the people are still the same! That is hard to find in today's society. The room was very nice and clean. The beds and pillows are not up to other Marriott's I have stayed in. The lobby is very inviting with the fireplace and the lounge area. It is a nice place to stay and I would love to come back. All shopping and eating is very convenient. Great job to the staff!! Keep up the good work!
The Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport, located at 450 Cherrington Pkwy, Coraopolis, PA 15108, USA, is a Marriott-branded hotel operating under the "Hotels Near Me" category. It caters to a wide range of travelers, from those on business trips to leisure guests and families, particularly valuing its proximity to the airport and local amenities. While the hotel generally aims to provide a modern and comfortable experience, recent guest reviews indicate a mixed bag of experiences, with strong positives in some areas and notable drawbacks in others.
The Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport boasts an excellent and convenient location, primarily driven by its close proximity to the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). It is situated just moments away, making it an ideal choice for air travelers. The hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle service, typically available from 4:00 AM to midnight at scheduled times and on request, which greatly enhances its appeal for those flying in and out of Pittsburgh. Beyond the airport, the hotel is strategically located near major local attractions and commercial centers. It's a short drive to Robinson Town Centre and The Mall at Robinson, offering a wide array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. This convenience means guests have easy access to various amenities without needing to travel far. For those looking to explore the city, downtown Pittsburgh and its renowned attractions such as Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center are approximately a 15-20 minute drive away via I-376. The hotel itself presents a contemporary design, which generally contributes to an inviting and pleasant atmosphere.
As a Courtyard by Marriott property, this hotel offers a range of services and amenities designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers. A central feature is The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect.®, an on-site restaurant and bar serving healthy breakfast and dinner options, Starbucks® coffee, and evening cocktails. While breakfast is available, it is not complimentary and usually comes with a surcharge (approximately USD 11-14 per person for cooked-to-order breakfast). This is a common setup for Courtyard properties, where the focus is on a more modern, à la carte dining experience rather than a free buffet.
Other notable services and amenities include:
The Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport's modern design, particularly its inviting lobby with a fireplace and lounge area, contributes positively to the guest experience. The on-site Bistro offers a convenient dining option, providing a more contemporary alternative to traditional hotel restaurants. The generally friendly and helpful staff, as highlighted in numerous positive reviews, is a significant asset, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's free airport shuttle is a strong distinguishing feature, especially for travelers prioritizing seamless airport transfers. However, critical reviews consistently point out issues with bed comfort and the perceived disparity between advertised bed sizes (queen) and what is provided (double), along with the quality of pillows. The paid parking policy is also a point of frustration for some guests, especially when compared to nearby alternatives. While it is a Marriott property, some guests have felt that the room quality and amenities (e.g., bed and pillow comfort) do not always meet the expected Marriott standard. The hotel does not have an outdoor pool and it is not pet-friendly.
As a Marriott property, the Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport participates in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. Members can earn points for their stays, which can be redeemed for free nights, exclusive experiences, and other benefits. Booking directly through Marriott's official website or the Marriott Bonvoy app often provides access to the "Member Rate," which is typically the lowest available price. Guests can also look out for various promotions that Marriott frequently offers.
Common promotions and discounts may include:
Typical room rates have been observed to start from approximately USD 129 to USD 179 for a standard room, but prices can vary significantly based on the season, demand, and how far in advance you book. Guests should factor in the daily parking fee (e.g., USD 10) and the cost of breakfast at The Bistro. It is always recommended to check the official Marriott website or reputable online travel agencies for the most current pricing, availability, and specific promotional details for your intended travel dates. The hotel's check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM.

Mar 19, 2025 · Michelle MyersDo not stay here! There are nooo queen beds at this hotel. We paid for a 2 queen room and received a room with doubles. When I enquired at the desk that there must be a mistake, I was told all the rooms have kings or doubles. The pillows are single size pillows so they give you three, there was a dirty old sock in the pullout mattress that I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on. Worst Marriott ever. Should not even have the Marriott name - feels like an old motel 6.
Mar 28, 2025 · Patty McCulloughWas in the location for business. Great location. Employees were nice, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very nice. Hotel was very nice inside and I didn't even get to see all they had to offer, but I loved the big fireplace in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again.
Nov 19, 2024 · Kevin AWe were not met with any friendly staff at the hotel from the get-go. Upon arrival, we were told that we could not get free parking during our vacation as promised (because we had mistakenly booked through expedia--we got the phone number from the Marriott website, the phone operator identified himself as Marriott Courtyard--no mention of expedia--we will be dealing with expedia about that. Expedia has no record that we booked through them even with the confirmation that was given). From that moment on, the staff was standoffish and curt. We stayed anyway because we were preparing for a long trip and needed sleep. We also had to pay the upcharge for parking because of this issue When we arrived back after our cross-country travel, we checked in (the clerk never took his earbuds out and barely glanced at us). When we got to our room, we discovered that it was an unnecessary handicap room, it smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and there was NO RUNNING WATER. We went to the front desk to ask for a different room (most of the parking lot was empty) and were told that it was the last available room and there would not be water for at least three more hours in the entire building. When we asked for hand sanitizer, the clerk very reluctantly allowed us to have a squirt of his, but did not not offer to allow us anything to wash up with after using the restroom. He said that he hadn't know about the water problem until he got to work that night but still failed to mention it when we checked in. He acted like we were a huge inconvenience for him. We returned to the room to call in a complaint to Marriott before trying to get much needed sleep. As we were on the phone with a representative, we noticed that the linens were dirty, and the smell in the room was still musty and gross. We were told that Marriott would be sending us an email and contacting us via phone in the next 24 hours. We never received that and was denied a reimbursement for leaving due to NO WATER!!! After over 12 hours of travel, and less than one hour in the hotel, we left. HOW CAN THEY OPERATE WITH NO RUNNING WATER IN THE HOTEL WITHOUT NOTIFACTION AS SUCH WHEN WE CHECKED IN!
Feb 03, 2025 · Kim RowlandI’m incredibly disappointed with my recent stay at this Courtyard by Marriott. As a Platinum Elite member, I’ve come to expect a certain level of transparency and service from Marriott, but this experience was frustrating and felt misleading from start to finish. Due to a canceled flight, my original two-night stay was reduced to just one. Upon arrival, I was told that my original reservation had been canceled because there was an issue with my card. No one reached out to notify me or offer assistance in fixing it ahead of time. Instead, they told me I’d need to drive to the property to resolve the issue. When I arrived, I was forced to rebook at a much higher rate — something that wasn’t mentioned over the phone. To make matters worse, they charged me for parking, even though I specifically inquired about the cost before deciding to park. I was completely blindsided by this unexpected fee, and the lack of transparency and flexibility was disappointing. This experience felt like a series of avoidable issues that left me feeling more like an inconvenience than a valued Platinum Elite member. I would not recommend this property, especially if you expect the usual Marriott loyalty perks and fair communication.
