What can I say? This place is the best hotel we have stayed in New Orleans (believe me, we have stayed in many places in New Orleans over the 25+ years we have been coming down). I was greeted warmly on the phone by Keith who booked our room and greeted with a warm welcome by Keith when we arrived. We stayed two weeks over Mardi Gras and my husband said it was the best and most relaxing time he has had in New Orleans. The original room that we booked was beautiful but the tub was a real challenge for my husband to get in and out of so I approached Keith the next day and he made every effort to accommodate us. He immediately put us in the accessible room which was absolutely perfect. There were a few glitches with the room (the vent fan in the bathroom made a horrible noise) but Keith immediately called maintenance and by the next day it was fixed! The daily breakfast was delicious and it gave us a great start to the day. The girls in the kitchen were very friendly and spent time talking to the guests. Steve was kind and entertaining and always stopped by for a chat if we were sitting outside. We have friends that live in New Orleans and they were equally impressed with the hotel and with the room. A real gem!!

Creole Gardens exudes charm from every inch in every way- from its vibrant decor, to its cozy rooms, to its top notch location, to its lovely staff. We had our wedding in the roadhouse, but we also blocked out the hotel for ourselves and our guests the weekend of. This was truly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. The hotel suited us to an absolute T. It’s decked out in art from head to toe, drenched in the most beautiful, vibrant colors. Many of our guests commented at how unique and special our wedding venue was, and that it brought them a lot of joy. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone felt welcome to be themselves and have a fantastic time. It felt like home! We loved sprawling out in the quiet courtyard with friends and family. Breakfast was a highlight of every day- served fresh every morning in the cozy parlor room by Creole Garden’s lovely staff. And speaking of the staff… The staff went above and (far far far) BEYOND, time and time again to make sure we were having the time of our lives. Their generous spirit and fun-loving attitude set the mood, and their exuberance was contagious! We will, without a doubt, be coming back to Creole Gardens on a regular basis. Not just for its top notch service and offerings, but to reconnect with the wonderful people who made our experience unforgettable!

The building itself was beautiful! Our room was very comfortable! We were within easy walking to distance to several nice shops and restaurants. It was just a wonderful experience! We will absolutely be staying here again!

The breakfast they provide is an awesome bonus & its good too!!(w/lots of options) Location is in the Garden District, which is beautiful and offers a lot to look at & excellent options for photos. It also has a streetcar for transportation if you choose. Just a quick 8-10 minute drive to the French Quarter. The courtyard & front patio are wonderful for visiting & hanging out. I would definitely stay again.

The room we stayed in was a little small, but it's a 100+ year old building and that just kind of comes with the territory. The place has so much personality, and for the price great for what it is. So if you want to stay in an actual inn that's within walking distance of the French quarter, I would definitely reccomend this place.
