Very nice room in a quiet location. We were a 5 minute walk from a taco place, a breakfast place, and a wedding venue. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint, lots of people out walking dogs in the early morning. It was maybe 10-15 minutes walk to the WWII museum. The kitchen was clean, and it was lovely to sit and have a nighttime tea in the lobby before bed, in addition to tea and bagels for breakfast. Our room ran out of shampoo, and all we had to do was text to request more and they had it there within the hour. We received a warm welcome call and had a brief and pleasant chat with one of the artists. We were very happy with the experience and would recommend!

Jun 08, 2025 · Annie BrandonOur group of 4 really enjoyed our 5 nights at Travelers. It's outside of the French Quarter so it's quiet, but still pretty close to it so getting there and back isn't a pain. Travelers is very close to the 11 bus and a ~10 min walk from the St Charles streetcar, so getting around on public transit is easy. There's also quite a bit in walking distance from Travelers like Elizabeth's Cafe, Surreys, and Coliseum Square Park, and Magazine St shops a bit further down. The rooms were clean and we appreciated easy access to the lounge area and extra bathrooms downstairs. There are outlets and USB ports accessible from each side of both beds, and each side also has its own reading light. I liked that the main building and our rooms were accessed with a code, so once you shared the codes with your group nobody has to worry about who has a key. Travelers was a great value for money and we all agreed we would stay here again.
Apr 01, 2025 · graceWould definitely return. We had a clean, spacious room and you can grab coffee/continental breakfast items from the communal kitchen. Quiet area and right across the street from St. Vincent, which has multiple bars. Walkable to lots of restaurants in the lower garden district. I'd just note that there is not daily housekeeping, but staff is responsive if you have any issues.
Mar 10, 2025 · Meaghan PicklesHad the absolute best time during my stay. The modern minimalist decor was done well, with soft lighting and natural wood accents, made it feel clean and cozy. Self check in was easy, and the self serve breakfast options lended itself to the feeling of a "home away from home." Location was perfect, and I had no trouble getting around on foot or using public transit. The premises was very clean. The room looked and felt sanitary, but not in a sterile, overly processed way like major hotel chains. The bed was super comfortable! It was the best sleep I had in a while. It was my 3rd time in New Orleans, but first time staying in the garden district, and the location of this stay couldn't have been better. I got around very easily on foot and with public transit. This is going to be my top recommendation for anyone I know looking for somewhere to stay while they visit NOLA. I will definitely be back to stay here next time I'm in town. I absolutely felt that Travelers provided a lot of value.
Nov 04, 2024 · Melissa MalecA really great space for artists and travelers alike. The small details are refined, well thought of, and tasteful, and it was great to have a shared kitchen during the stay. The check in and check out process was seamless, even if it was all online. For the price range, I would highly recommend.
