I enjoyed my one night here. After missing my flight and being extremely upset, I decided to stay here. The lady in the restaurant (middle aged, black with braids) was extremely nice. I also want to give a shout out to Miesha that worked the front desk. The next morning I was without deodorant and she took care of me. She stopped what she was doing to just have a conversation with me. I felt seen, and it felt good. She was awesome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Food and service was great, rooms were extremely clean. Outside was loud at times, but overall great location.

Apr 11, 2025 · Ronnie MarshallStayed one night here when our flight was delayed and we missed our connecting flight home. The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. We were given warm cookies upon check in which was a fun surprise. Hotel shuttle to and from airport was convenient and easy. Would definitely stay here again!
Apr 07, 2025 · SandiThe pick up times from the airport by arranged shuttle is very frustrating, we waited for an hour and half for the shuttle to finally come and pick us up. When the driver came the first time it was around 10:15am, he did not stop the bus to check if there was any one of us was going to Double Tree, he simply reduced speed and peeped through the window of the passenger side and drove off. April 05 2025 had a biting cold day, the temperatures were below 9 and it was windy, the weather was unkind. We were exposed to the cold for more than 1hr 30 minutes. When the driver finally came, he never apologised for the delay, instead he was complaining about our luggage and though he helped with the suitcases, he would throw them to the luggage shelve which was painful to see. A seven minute drive from JFK airport to the hotel was fine until we got to the reception for check in. Another welcome to an ugly side of hospitality. The reception was unpleasant. One of the ladies at the reception seemed totally confused and kept giving false information that we had to ask several times before she can say, "Let me check for you." This was time consuming and disappointing considering that we were shivering from the cold. Not all is bad news. Getting to the hotel, the view was stunning, panoramic and breathtaking. The JFK airport was right outside my window and it was now drizzling, the view outside the window was therapeutic.
Apr 05, 2025 · dalitzo dandaI booked a stay, park, and go at this hotel. The location is difficult to get to - plan extra time. The check-in experience was okay. Leaving the car was confusing; it might have been easier if the valet wasn’t smoking a joint. The room was very noisy from outside noise. The room itself was okay. We had early morning flight, and with little sleep because of noise, the shuttle was right there and the driver was helpful. We booked overnight on our return. The shuttle was right where we expected when we got off train at Federal Circle. Check in process was okay. Room again was loud because of outside noise. Fire alarm at 430 a.m. Fire Department arrived and cleared the alarm around 5. At 6 went downstairs for a cup of coffee. Staff really unpleasant and wanted to charge $3 per cup of coffee. There is nothing nearby but so be prepared to pay for hotel coffee or go without. I will not use this hotel again.
Mar 05, 2025 · Hugh LeonardNo luggage check; I had to carry my bags around the city with me. I had a flight get in late, the 24/7 shuttle was easy to call even at 3am. I hoped to leave my bags at the hotel and meet some friends in the city before my connecting flight departed that evening, but they wouldn’t hold on to my bags which was a huge disappointment. The room was very clean and updated, and the staff were respectful and helpful despite my luggage issue. Like other reviewers say, the rooms are particularly noisy from outside traffic and thin walls, so I didn’t get the best sleep before checkout at 11.
