Overall good for the price and location with a few minor annoyances. The service is good, the rooms are clean, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant has excellent food and a great view. Expect persistent heavy elevator traffic. The bathroom door hinges were quite loud, and the shower leaks water onto the floor. Our neighbors were quiet, but the walls are thin and sound penetrates the room easily. This could be a problem if you happen to be next to a disrespectful guest.

The property was very good, small lobby but refurbished rooms and overall the staff I interacted with were nice. The only reason for stars off is, I had to book another night in the city (the reason I booked this location since it was close to my previous hotel) I checked in my luggage early and was assured I would get a phone call as soon as a room was available. I eventually had other obligations and didn’t make it back until later that evening, however seven hours later, three hours past check in time, and you can’t even call me? As a Hilton honors member I found that crazy. Also no late check out at all. Edit: Something I forgot to mention, no do not disturb sign in my room, so mentioned to the front desk I will be leaving for a few hours in the morning and to inform housekeeping. Came back to her trying to get into my room and on the phone with someone.

Hotel is centrally located and staff is friendly. Rooms are nice and spacious if you get an upgrade. Issue is the noise. If you get second floor, there's a bar /club downstairs that drives you crazy. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything and the doors slam.

I don’t know why people leave bad reviews about such a nice hotel! For $170 total a Christmas Eve night was a great deal right in the heart of Manhattan! The location is great, the room very spacey (we had room 306), clean, no carpet, very comfortable bed for couples, everything looks new and stylish! We called before we got the room and front lady gave us clear instructions where and how to park 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel! Complementary water and cookies were nice to get! Check in and check out was really easy! I highly recommend this place to experience great time in NY!

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I had a pleasant experience overall. On my first visit, I had a room with a lovely view, but this time my room was interior-facing with no view - not a big deal, I didn't spend a lot of time in there but you may want to consider this when booking. The stay was enjoyable, thanks to the hotel’s thoughtful touches and fantastic location. The hotel is ideally situated, right beside Rockefeller Center and just a stone's throw from Times Square and other major landmarks like St Patrick's Cathedral and Radio City, making it perfect for anyone looking to explore NYC’s highlights with ease. The warm welcome on arrival, complete with freshly baked cookies, is a small but memorable gesture that really sets a welcoming tone. The hotel bar and restaurant have a nice ambiance, and the food and drinks are good. However, as a solo traveler, I did feel a bit overlooked amid the groups of other guests. While the staff were friendly, a little small talk would have made the experience feel more inclusive for lone guests instead of leaving us on the sidelines as staff chatted among themselves (in Italian?). Just an observation that could make solo guests feel a bit more comfortable, stay longer, spend more and return. The room itself was compact, with clean but fairly basic decor. I did appreciate the coffee machine—something I've rarely seen in U.S. hotels so far but that's often a given in Europe given how much caffeine we inhale. The hotel even personalized the welcome on the TV with my name and a "Welcome to New York" message, which was a nice touch! Overall, while there were minor aspects that didn't earn this a 5 star rating from me this time, the hotel still has excellent hospitality, a prime location, and thoughtful amenities, making it a solid recommendation for anyone visiting NYC. I'd stay again. And again.
