Our stay at Hilton Club New York during New Year’s was simply fabulous. The location and comfort exceeded all expectations. Staying for four nights turned out to be the perfect decision, as we were within walking distance of Times Square for the ball drop, iconic shopping destinations like the Louis Vuitton store and Trump Tower, and so much more. The view from our room was breathtaking. We loved keeping the curtains open just to soak in the stunning sunrise and cityscape—an experience in itself! The staff deserves special mention for being incredibly friendly and professional. The male reception staff, in particular, stood out—not just for their service but for their undeniable charm. It seemed like looks were a part of the hiring criteria! Having a separate check-in counter on the 36th floor was a thoughtful touch, helping us avoid the bustling lobby downstairs. Speaking of which, the restaurants in the lobby served some truly delicious meals, and the bar offered fantastic cocktails that added to the overall experience. At just over $500 per night, it felt worth every penny, especially given the time of year. Rates might be lower during the off-season, but for New Year’s, this was the ideal choice. Highly recommended!

Jan 02, 2025 · Deboo ChatterjeeRoom: Stayed in room 3649, meaning staying at level 36. We had a good view of the city from here. We could even see a glimpse of central park. The room was generally spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. What was not as great was that the temperature regulation did not seem to work fully. I had set the temperature on 25°C, but it never went up over 20.5°C. The room floor was also fully covered with mat, which may be the reason the room feeling very dry and me having a throat ache. The duvet was not fully "tucked in" into the bedsheets, it was rather inbetween two bedsheets. But maybe it is an american thing, as it was so in the previous hotel also. Location: Very central. Close to many cafés, restaurants, shops and touristy spots. Good connection with metro and trains. The negative thing is that there are a lot of people anywhere close to the hotel. Even when walking to a restaurant being 15 min away, I had to go through a crowd. Maybe there were extra many people at my visit as it was during the holidays. Hotel: Friendly staff.
Jan 04, 2025 · Anna JooOverall, my stay was underwhelming. The bed was noticeably worn, feeling uneven and lumpy due to clumped-up filling in the comforter and bedding. Additionally, upon check-in, I discovered leftover moldy food in the fridge. The proximity of my room to the cleaning closet led to early morning disturbances from the cleaning crew's loud conversations. Additionally, the Hilton Club check-in wasn't located in the lobby but on the 37th floor. The instructions were unclear, and I waited in line for over 30 minutes only to find out I couldn't check in there and had to go to the 37th floor.
Nov 05, 2024 · Brandon YThis is the worst experience with a hotel ever. Unbelievable that Hilton would be so disingenuous to the point of scamming. After booking at one location, I was called by the Hilton sales team to purchase a marketing package that was “on sale” if booked ahead of time. Turns out that this is a scam where they force you to attend a sales presentation at a very limited time window and flexibility and with limited dates. Then if you miss this, they charge you an exorbitant “full price”. All of this is to try to sell you a timeshare package at their resorts. And they will do everything possible to get you to pay full price and each person you call on their corporate line just passes you off to the next person. I spoke with various staff on site at the hotel and on call, for them to still claim that I’m a no show for being late (but still within the window of the presentation), just so they can charge “full price”. Never stay at ANY Hilton. Unbelievable that this is even legal.
