It’s a huge hotel, and was very busy. I wanted to like it, but I was pretty disappointed. The room was too hot, and the thermostat was inoperable, so I lived with it. The room had no windows due to the design of the hotel…the bedroom “windows” are just backlit panels that do not allow any outside ventilation. The room was clean but dated. Of course I could have changed rooms but because of the huge line at the desk when I realized the room issues, I just lived with it because I was just there for the night. The desk clerk at check in was not into his job whatsoever. He said nothing to us, just checked us in. The worst part was that I was charged two nights even though I only stayed one night. I made reservations (for one night) through my credit card, and for that reason, when I called the hotel a few days later after noticing the error on my receipt, they said they couldn’t do anything. So I paid for two nights I guess. The act of calling the hotel to discuss this was a huge ordeal. I called the number on the receipt (which was the hotel’s number), but after several tries and number combinations, the guy I spoke to was from Hilton corporate and talking to him was pointless (after 30 minutes of explanation). When I finally talked to someone at the hotel, she was very nice and understanding, but she said there was nothing they could do. Really? I stayed one night and was charged for two, seems pretty simple to me. I am going to follow up with my credit card since Hilton was no help (even though the error was 100% theirs). Very disappointed with Hilton overall, and my future travel plans will reflect this. Edit: Wanted to add an update that a few weeks later I was issued a refund for the incorrect night.

My wife and I stayed at the DoubleTree Suites in Plymouth Meeting Pennsylvania from 4/6-4/8 on business. We usually stay in either a Hilton or Marriott when we travel and certainly picked the wrong brand this time. I’ll try to make this quick. This hotel should be knocked down and replaced completely. Our room was filthy to say the least. The wallpaper was literally coming off the walls. There were deep dark stains all over the rugs. There was a metal hatch door above your head in the shower that was really unnerving and deep yellowish rusted stains on the tub floor that immediately inspired us to go out and spend $100 on slides to keep us from touching the floors or the tub. On top of this the freezer was not cleaned so we kept some drinks in a plastic bag over ice. My wife swims religiously every where we go but the pool was closed during our stay so this really was laughable. I will be in Phoenix from 4/16-4/21 but booked a room at a Marriott property. I am stuck with one more Hilton stay in Orlando next week from 4/21-4/24 but because I prepaid the reservation that booking is non refundable. So one more store to go before we’re free from the Hilton. I must state before I go that Jamil at the front desk (forgive my spelling) was absolutely outstanding. Brian

Well if you book online and your reservation says a $50 security deposit just go ahead and assume that’s a lie. The rude lady at the front desk said nope it’s $50 a night. Well then your email for the reservation should say that. If it’s in written you should honor it. Jerks. There were no pillows or blankets in the room for the pull out bed. The pool is a disaster . My son cut his foot on the bottom of the pool. Oh and the air/ heater rattles like an old dog crapping glass. Do not recommend staying here.

First off, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartender is a very nice guy!!! The rooms need to be updated. Although clean, the coffee table legs were about to come off. The heating/AC room unit was very noisy and didn't work so well. Old decor. If the updated the hotel, it would get many more stars.

Did not like the staff. Called ahead to see if we could get an early check-in, and they said sure, the earliest is 2:30. We drove around until about 3 went there and were told they didn't have anything ready. Told we would need to wait at least another 30 minutes. I kind of complained and they became combative then told me to check in an hour. They did say they had 2 weddings. I completely understand that but, it's not my problem. If you can't handle 2 weddings and additional guests in the area, don't accept bookings. I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I didn't see every other family who came in after us get their keys before us.
