May 6, 2025 – My first flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Dubai. This was my first — and definitely last — time traveling through New Jersey. The customer service at the airport was extremely poor, and even the people in and around the area were generally unfriendly. The only bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience was a receptionist named Antonio. He was pleasant, accommodating, and truly understanding. My sister had accidentally booked the hotel reservation for the wrong date, but when I called to correct it, Antonio had no issue updating it for me. Upon arrival, he greeted me with a warm smile that instantly made me feel safe, especially as I was traveling alone. The next morning, he greeted me again — even remembering my last name, which made the interaction feel personal and genuine. As a military wife, I’ve traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels, but my experience with Antonio stands out and will always be remembered. In a time when customer service often falls short, Antonio was a reminder of how impactful kindness and professionalism can be. THANK YOU VERY MUCH ANTONIO!!!

We needed a place to stay on the Jersey side on NYC, for an event at the Prudential Center and we were not disappointed. It was an easy drive to the event arena, only fifteen minutes or so. This hotel was clean, bright and welcoming, a huge step up from the reviews of hotels near the airport. The staff, friendly. The breakfast, a decent offering of continental fare. They could definitely use a second waffle press but otherwise, it was good. Access to the hotel would have been confusing without GPS, but we found it just fine. Leaving to head west to home was tricky but that is not a Fairfield problem, that’s New Jersey roads. We will stay again.

This hotel is clean and pretty, with a nice attendant, but the hotel room itself had the thinnest walls I have ever stayed in. I could hear everything from people flushing, water in pipes, sounds from the parking lot, hallway, sounds from the rooms above and to the sides, and every single time someone used the wafflemaker we heard that too. The door doesnt open properly, the bed was pretty hard. I would not stay here again.

The front desk was not personable at all. The experience unfortunately got worse from there. The refrigerator was loud, and the traffic/noise from the Wawa just in front of the hotel was even more annoying. To make matters worse, they have a chime on the doors when they open!!! Who wants to hear all of that. Needless to say, it was quite noisy, and only saving grace were my ear plugs and shear exhaustion that allowed me to get any rest. If you stay here, request a room on the back side of the building. Maybe you will have a better experience.

My recent stay at this hotel unfortunately did not live up to expectations, echoing the concerns raised in other low-starred reviews. The most significant issue was the inconsistent and lukewarm water temperature in the showers – a far cry from the hot water advertised. Beyond this, the check-in process could be significantly improved. Noise was another major problem; the rooms offer virtually no soundproofing, and the doors are difficult to open and close quietly. I strongly advise avoiding rooms near the elevators, as the noise levels will make a good night's sleep impossible. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel based on these issues.
