We had such a great stay at this hotel in DC! From the moment we arrived, Tina made us feel incredibly welcomed. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and gave us all the info we needed about check-out and our stay. The room was super clean, stylish, and had such a cool, modern vibe. The location is amazing too! It's just a short walk from Dupont Circle, with lots of cute restaurants and easy access to the metro. It’s also very close to downtown, which made getting around super convenient. Thanks to Tina and the team for making our trip so enjoyable!

May 09, 2025 · Huong LeThe location was perfect for what I needed. I used to stay here years ago when it was a Marriott, especially when I had events near Dupont Circle. This time was no different. I could walk to everything on my schedule, even though it was a work trip, not vacation. After checking out, I worked from the lobby. It was a bit loud for Zoom calls but had a good vibe for getting things done remotely. I also really appreciated the on-site parking. At $50 a day, it wasn’t cheap, but totally worth it. One downside was not being able to control the room temperature. With four people sharing the space, that can easily lead to disagreements. It was warm and stuffy during our stay. I usually travel with a mini fan, but I forgot to pack it this time. The bunk area had outlets, so I could’ve plugged it in if I had remembered.
May 21, 2025 · Daya NaefHad a great stay. The hotel was clean, comfy but also very vibrant. Everyone I spoke to was awesome and helpful. Parking on site was convenient and extremely reasonably priced. Within walking distance to anything you could want. Will stay there again.
May 12, 2025 · Taylor HartmanIt was my first time staying at a hostel and I loved the experience. I stayed with 3 other lovely girls and we created a sort of bond! The cafe barista Amanda was so kind and thoughtful. I was so pleased with her service I came back the next morning to have coffee and breakfast. The vanilla latte was really delicious! I had to come back. It was very easy coming into dc for the first time for a quick engineering conference. The checking out was easy and since I had afternoon meetings you can leave your luggage by the desk. They also let you lounge around and work after got check out. Very fun experience.
Mar 20, 2025 · Carlyle EzpeletaStayed at Generator Washington DC and it was honestly such a great find. I booked the 4-bed bunk room, super affordable for being right in the city and everything’s walkable from there. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. I actually forgot to select the female-only dorm when booking, but the staff was so sweet and helped switch me over with no problem. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, well-located spot in DC.
