This hotel is in a great spot—right in downtown Schenectady, walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, and Proctors Theater. Super convenient if you’re catching a show or just want to explore the area. The rooms are a bit dated in terms of decor, but they’re very clean, which matters more to me. What really stood out was the service—everyone at the front desk greeted me with a smile and went out of their way to be helpful. Really warm, welcoming staff. There’s a pool and hot tub that seem to be popular—there was always someone in the hot tub during my stay. Only downside is that it’s right in view of folks walking to the elevator, which felt a little awkward. The gym is basic with older equipment, and the floor matting is uneven, which makes certain exercises a little annoying. But for a short stay, it works. They also offer a complimentary breakfast with all the staples—waffles, bacon, sausage, cereal, pastries. The woman running the breakfast area is incredibly kind and attentive—she made a great impression each morning. All in all, not a luxury hotel, but very solid and convenient with great service.

Great location downtown and super friendly staff. Lots to see and do within walking distance. Rooms were good, zero complaints. It's not brand new but not bad. Lobby and breakfast area very nice. Overall, it was a quiet, clean, comfortable stay. Would recommend.

The room was very clean and peaceful. I recommend the shower room. The service was great. Very attentive and the breakfast was good. We showed up for the last 30 minutes and they still had a variety of options. Location is nice and safe. A lot of food options, I recommend the Macaroni place, the chicken or salmon alfredo was really good. They also have bars that are walking distance. Parking was easy and convenient, and also free. If your bringing a pet, there is no additional charges, as long as the pets are not disturbing other people.

From the moment I arrived in my room, I was met with comfort. The room was clean, updated, and my shower experience was quite smooth. There was already a product available to me such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. After sleeping overnight on a soft pillow and supportive bed, I awoke with my skin feeling quite smooth. I only had a few hours of rest as I came in late and need to get up early, but this was a very relaxing hotel experience!
