I was very happy with this location until I had a run-in with a very disgruntled security officer outside the hotel. My dog has always been on a leash until early this morning when he asked to go outside and I knew given the early hour, no one would be outside. The officer abruptly met us and barked that the dog MUST be on a leash. To which case my dog decided to chase a squirrel to the fence line harmlessly. We then quickly got into the car and left. 5 min later we return, my dog obediently following me to the door. The security officer abruptly met us again and this time threatened that this was my final warning as if I somehow had an ability to retrieve a leash in the 5min I had been away from the hotel in the middle of the night. He aggressively got in my face, inches from me, and slammed the door in my face suggesting I was no longer allowed inside the building, as I tried to enter the building. Without any chance of first retrieving a leash from our last interaction only minutes prior, I suggested this to the man and he thankfully, yet aggressively, removed himself from the doorway and allowed me inside. I went to the front desk and he suggested I wait to deal with the manager in the morning. I have been staying at Hilton hotels for the last 3 years and have never once experienced an encounter like this. My dog was the opposite of aggressive, was friendly and welcoming, unlike the security person, who in my opinion was extremely overreactive, aggressive, threatening, unforgiving, and did not allow an opportunity to correct his suggestive issue, and I now no longer feel welcome or secure in this location here in Asheville. Very disappointed this would be allowed to happen on their premises.

May 29, 2025 · Nicky PalmerThis was a great final stop on our trip to Virginia to see family. We stayed a single night, me, my wife, and our two kids. We got the standard king suite and it was nice. The kids used the couch bed and we had the king, pillows were super comfy and soft. The big draw for us was the heated indoor pool for the kids, they really enjoyed that treat on the way home. I stopped by the bar and got a nice glass of wine. It would be nice if it was a full bar, but what was there was still nice. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and nice.
Mar 06, 2025 · Michael Moore (lizaoreo)I very much enjoyed my stay at this location. It was the Hampton Inn experience that I've grown up expecting. The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and the showerhead has great water pressure. Breakfast was still well stocked after 9am.
May 26, 2025 · Meryl StarkStayed 1 night, and we were very pleased with our stay. Friendly staff at the front desk who let us check in early free og charge. Lots of free parking. Breakfast was very good, and the coffee was the best we had on our vacation. Room was clean and spacious. Close to the outlets, numerous take out restaurants and a supermarket.
Apr 25, 2025 · Lars Jørgen SundsdalThis hotel came through in a big way during a family crisis! The staff are wonderful, especially the front desk staff who were very helpful with suitable accommodations. The rooms are large and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
